I wonder why relatively normal looking people wear fall and/or winter jackets on swealtering hot days. I see it all the time in Toronto. One hot July day I even saw a dude wearing a down-filled puffy winter coat. I was wearing shorts and was sweating like a mofo.

I'll chalk some of this up to immigration, especially from hot countries. I see Tamils and Somolians wearing coats, but c'mom, this is our hottest summer on record. Almost every day is blazing hot and humid. It was 100 today and that's not including the humidity, and it was fucking humid today too. Trust me, I can normally tell crazy. Some of the folks dressed for cold are wearing expensive winter and/or fall coats.
