Family Picture Day!!!

Had the 'groinal'   :o  ultrasound today - checking out the goods & hernia & such.  wasn't too bad - had quite the foxy nurse   ::)   I'm sure the misses was thrilled about that   ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

exchanged cd books full of cd's with my friend to put on itunes (spare me the lecture, i buy most of my cd's (especially MMJ). Stevie Wonder box set, Billy Joel box set, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, Warren Zevon, John Lennon Live In New York (haven't been able to find this anywhere) Ray Charles, America, Doobie Brothers etc.....

lots of joys today:

1. had to go see my new specialist in louisville. i am glad to have found a dr. who can actually help make me better! i mean, it still sucks to live with this condition, but having someone who is committed to actually getting you BETTER is pretty exciting.

2. trip to louisville meant i got to listen to (what i discovered last summer to be) the greatest radio station known to man. WAKY is the shit. they play oldies, but what makes the station so unique is that they use vintage imaging. all the liners, bumpers, all the "promotional" stuff--is totally old school. none of this overproduced crap from some generic copyservice company. i respect that--and enjoy listening to it, too.

3. took the "highway" home. as in US 31-W, not I-65. i love old highways. it's cool to see all the hotels and restaurants--all the tourist attractions that existed before the interstate system homogenized it all.

4. easter candy on clearance. YUM.

One of my all time favorite bands is coming to town, the tickets will be under $30, and it has already pissed off my wife to the point that she hung up on me! Yes, this is destined to be a great show. I'm happy happy.
