1. I woke up, and my roommate said, "Hey, let me cook you breakfast."

2. Vh1 is running reruns of "Breaking Bonaduce" right now.

3. I got a day off (for once).

4. The mailman came by, and his stereo was blasting... MMJ.

What a freakin sweet day.

I don't have to work tomorrow.  Got off early today.  And the MMJ shirt i ordered online was waiting on me when i got home :D

Talked to an old friend who I haven't talked to in probably a year and 1/2. I ran into one of her friends at the bar and ended up on the phone. Something in my life felt incomplete not being in touch with her.

Just found out that I actually had at least one "Y" in me and come March we will only be outnumbered 3 to 2.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

Thanks ali.  I'm excited.

This is how it went at home on the night we found out....

An excited me to my 4 year old and 2 year old girl "Guess what guys, we are having a boy!"

My 4 year old, after pausing for about 5 full seconds in thought, picks up the cookie in front of her and says "Look what I got!"

OK, so they're not quite as excited as the old man.......
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

give it time... i'm sure she'll get pretty excited when she realises she'll have a little dude around to look after!! (kids are pretty funny when you can see them weighing up the information, and mentally going "hmm... baby brother... cookie...cookie wins".)
