good deal, ms. meg, have an awesome time!!

my current joy is failblog...this happens every couple months or so...which inevitably leads me into epic win blog, lolcats, the whole 9 yards.... it always becomes a nice long drawn-out process somehow.... kind of like strongbad cartoons..... sometimes i end up skimming through those too, after all the other jazz.....

Daylight is good at arriving in the night time

So this morning I dreamt I went to see MMJ at some fest again, but all I wanted was to see them... tickets were 100 DOLLARS because it was a fest

And I snuck in!! I remember them playing At Dawn before the dream did something else....... which is super weird because I woke up at 8 and probably had the dream right around dawn............. those guys....sheesh

It's Friday and Monday is a holiday so 3 day weekend. Today will be dead at work as people will take advantage of the holidayness of this weekend.

Oh and I'm higher then high on caffeine right now, so watch the fuck out!

Long weekend with near perfect temps = camping out (in our yard), grilling out (a lot), and two mountain bike rides at two great trails

Most excellent.  Buffalo Trace is my new favorite trail.  In fact, I'm riding there again early tomorrow morning!

That trail always makes me think of bourbon for some reason, though...

TEO

Too bad it is so far away! Kinda' know the area due to our Green Patoka Lake experiences...

How far is it for you?  I really like that little town.  West Baden is pretty impressive, especially after the remodeling.  I know that it is thought of as a casino town now, but gambling just doesn't do much for me.  Unless, of course,  I'm gambling that I'm not going to smack a tree on two wheels at 22 mph.

TEO

'bout 3 hours. I hear you on the gambling thing My Brother in Jackethood, full of a bunch of smoking hilljacks all dressed up for nuttin'...

It's about 2 hours for me.  Considering I have to drive 1.5 to my closest trail the extra 30 minutes each way is not such a big deal.  I have never hung out there, but Patoka looks great from what I can see crossing it on the highway.

Buffalo Trace is one of my favorite bourbons....Probably #3 after Woodford and Eagle Rare
