All you should have to do is quote my post that I put them in, copy the url of the Malkin pic, paste it in another window, then once its open there, save it.

I honestly wanted the Caps this round. After an emotional, physical series vs. Philly, I thought the Pens - despite the momentum they have thanks to that come from behind win on the road - may have an energy and emotional letdown to start off the next series, just because you know how bad they wanted to beat Philly. The Caps are the 1 team left where I know thats not the case and theyll give their all from the 1st faceoff

Plus itll be nice to eliminate the 2 teams I hate most

That save was THE difference in the game. This aint no Mighty Ducks - but if that shot is a half inch to the left or right, thats a goal. I think it was more a lucky save than anything, but Sid needs to get that shot up. If not top shelf, at least a foot off the ice.

I agree with you on the sloppiness on the Caps part, but I thought the Pens were solid. Basically the only mistake they made was on the game winner for the Caps where Orpik switched off the forward he should've stayed with, for no apparent reason. First goal was a bad play by Fleury giving up a rebound like that (his only achilles outside of soft goals - but I can count those on 1 hand since Bylsma took over), and the 2nd goal was a 5-on-3. This year, the Caps PP killed us, give them a 5-on-3, and Im not surprised they scored.

I didn't want to be down 0-1, but I took a lot of positive things away from this game. Our PP has not been good, but it looked terrible today and I'd guess we were 0-5 or 6. Once Caps got that PP goal, we didnt take 1 more penalty. Outside of the first 5-10 minutes of the 2nd period, we looked like the much better team 5-on-5. Then the sloppiness factor - we had to have a dozen more odd man chances than them, if not more. Pens didn't look sloppy, they did, and once they had the lead, it didn't look like they knew how to protect it.

And then maybe the biggest thing, I thought both Sid and Geno looked better than Ovie. Ovie got a lot of opportunities early, but after that, he disappeared. Crosby was the best player on the ice the whole game, and Malkin was quiet during the first half and didnt get enough ice time, but looked very good over the last 30 minutes.
