I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

What ever happened with that Dutch(?) company that was going to buy them out? Did it end up happening??
Because if there's one thing that goes well with shooting zombies it's a Dolly Parton cover-el chode

Good thing I'm a StL resident (relatively speaking) and I don't drink AB unless absolutly have to  :-/

Yeah, the Cards are done for after tonight me thinks

Crispy

Why would you StL guys drink AB when you can have Schlafly's? Oh, to be at the tap room with a cask-conditioned APA...

Good point. They do make some tasty brews don't they.

BH

Oh I don't drink that shit.  But I'm still bummed that the Europeans own them now basically just because the dollar sucks so bad.   I guess it was inevitable anyway in this new global economy.

Schlafley and Boulevard (KC) get most of my beer money.

That Schlafley (sp?) is pretty incredible.

Do they do brewery tours?

Just finished a case of Schlafly APA. It was wonderful. Fresh, crisp, refreshing, and not over the top with hops.

There is no finer nectar than a naturally-carbonated beer pulled out of a cask in the basement, and the one (or two) I had at Schlafly's a couple weeks ago was outstanding - you smell the aroma the second you start lifting the glass, but as previously mentioned, the flavor and finish is not over-hoppy.
In other news, I heard that since Inbev bought AB, the largest fully American-owned brewery is now The Boston Beer Company (Sam Adams). Guess we need a beer thread, or I need to post a pic, or I'd feel guilty of a threadjack. So here's a shot of me sucking wind while "mountain climbing" around CO before the Red Rocks show:
