so, quick story. 1994, I went to San Antonio to visit my special friend Elizabeth. On my way out of town (Jackson, Mississippi) I was going to buy The Pretenders/Learning to Crawl. I got to the record store and it was 12 bucks and I could not pull the trigger (tight budget). So, I drove to San Antonio and Liz took me to Fredericksburg  and we're walking around and there's this city wide sidewalk sale and on a card table was, you got it, the Pretenders/Learning to Crawl for .50 cents (and also on the table was a sheep doll that we bought for a quarter and named Duane, but that's another story...)

Speaking of the Pretenders, did you see the recent Decades of Rock with the Pretenders.  I saw a bit with Kings of Leon and it was pretty good.
