tracy, the little brown animal(?) in the corner of the sink is fabulous.

please, tell me what it is so that i can get one for myself.

you know, there's a name for it and I think some even collect them. I have no idea. We found him at a thrift store on Bardstown Rd in Louisville. We call him Louie.

i think the store you're thinking of, brian, is kopilot - and danny and his wife started that one.  and i bought a silk-screened cowboy card there that i finally gave to my dad for his birthday a few months ago. :)

it is definitely not a thrift store, though.  it's fun and i think it's japanese-themed...

I saw some critters like that in Danny's store, but we definently got Louie at a thrift store. I cradled him around the store for 20 minutes while LA shopped.

that creature is a "naugadoll".  its made of naughayde.  my dad worked for a division of uniroyal that made naugahyde and they made those dolls of various colors of naugahyde as samples to distribute.  im pretty sure kustom amps made them as well back in the day as they also used naugahyde for their tuck n roll series of amps.  they appeared in cartoon versions in an old kustom catalog.  you can often find them on ebay.

Naugamonsters!!!!!  The Muldoon's have naugamonsters on some of their shirts and picks.  Tracy do you know if there were any more than just that one at the place you got it?  Was it just junk store with one of everything?

it was a junk store on Bardstown. The store front was right on the sidewalk and it had like two entrances. It was on the opposite side of Ear X-tacy, further down going towards downtown way. There was just 1 and I paid 5 bucks.

Hey there guys, just kind of picking up the pieces from my vacation in Colorado from the week before. It snowed the whole second half of the week in Denver which was nice for a Texan (but born in Colorado.)

I aquired my first rental car. My 18yr old cousin promptly backed into the next morning. Thank God I took the extra insurance.

Wish I could have gone skiing. Flights into Dallas were being canceled due to the freezing rain. Oh darn, one extra day in Colorado!

I met some super cool people at the Ogden. The Friday show, much like the Thurs Nov. 16th Dallas show, seemed like a warm up night for the band. But they blew the roof off the place on Saturday, probably my favorite show to date.
