Great value for a solid, potent IPA

I tried some Arcadia Ales at a tasting on Saturday...

IPA, Anglers Ale, Hopmouth, Nut Brown Ale, Imperial Stout, London Porter, Cocoa Loco, Cereal Killer (barleywine)...there may have been more, but I don't remember.

Picked up a bottle of the 2008 Bourbon Barrel Shipwreck Porter for my dad   :)

Sounds like you need to break your obsession with Torpedo any way, TEO.  There are a lot of good IPAs out there.  ;)

You mean there are other beers than Torpedo? How's about a keg of Homewrecker? (Concerning my obsession with Torpedo, I have a case in the garage, about 15 in my mini fridge, and am going to a grocery store soon where I heard they have Torps available in those mix and match 6 packs) Alot of IPA's simply overdo the Barley which gives me a "bad" head, and you know how that goes over Dylan... ;)

Rumor confirmed on the mix and match six pack display where I found 9 Torps...also picked up some Goose Island, Hop Devil, Two Heart, and a 12 of Sierra Nevada...

I built a six pack at a local store and picked up a couple of bottles of Breckenridge 471 Small Batch Double IPA (Colorado).  At 9.50% ABV this baby packs one heck of a hop punch!  I definitely recommend trying it if you see it out and about.

No joke TEO!  I had a Torp on Sunday and now I can't drink one without thinking of your great love for it.  It is awfully good and ranks highly in my list of IPAs.

Low Barley, Low Barley, Low Barley. That is what I am striving for. The Hop Devil seems so Barleyed out and sweet just to make it palatable for the masses...glad I only got 3 of them. My palate may be ruined... ;)

Innocently picked up a six of Lagunitas' Brown Shuggah' tonight.  Didn't read the details until I opened a bottle:  a mere 9.8% ABV/51 IBU  :)

It's not as sweet as I expected, given the name, but it is really too good to be 9.8%   ;)
