OK that makes me excited to see this. As long as they keep with the sadistic Joker like in Killing Joke and some of the other stories.

So great!  Loved all the shots they took at Fox.  Rightfully so.

Whatever happened to Guy Ritchie? Did anyone see Revolver?

Finally being released here Friday. I recall the critics in the UK gave it bad reviews.  It has since been re-edited. Huge Lock Stock... and Snatch fan so I will go see it. Turkish is in it!

Saw Stephen King's The Mist. Not bad but not great either, it had one of the most f'd up endings I've ever seen.

i was wondering if the mist was anything like:

I'm surprised that only two people on this board have seen I'm Not There.  It's about Bob Dylan and Jim James is in it.  Anyone else seen it and just not talking about it?  I was looking forward to talking to someone about it.

i was supposed to go the other day but i didn't feel like driving in the snow. It's not playing at two of the theaters closest to me so its a bit inconvenient at times to go to the one that has it. I plan on going within a week or so. Other people are probably having a hard time finding a movie theater that has it as well.

I think there are quite a few of us who live in small to medium size places and movies like these tend to come and go quick.  For me it was between this and Into the Wild for the one free, baby-sitter available weekend.  Into the Wild is my favorite book ever and the choice was easy.  Wait for video.  I'm still praying to make it to No Country for Old Men before it closes.
I'm not saying it's easy...walking into sweet oblivion.

I saw No Country For Old Men last weekend...well, I'm a Cormac McCarthy fan, and a Coen Brothers fan, so I was expecting big things. I read the book a while ago, and while I didn't think of it as an "All-Time Favorite" (not even my favorite by McCarthy), it was impressive.

Well, I actually liked the movie more than the book. The treatment of Sheriff Ed Tom's internal dialouge from the book was the only place where the movie was lacking, but that's a pretty tough component to effectively include. This movie is SUSPENSEFUL, the shots and editing brilliantly thought out. The locations they shot in were perfectly chosen, especially the opening sequence showing the West Texas border country. This movie is raw, violent, evil, and highly effective.

And I LOVE Kelly Macdonald's (Llewelyn's wife) voice.

Michael Clayton.  The missus wanted to go and see Clooney.  It lacked pace, but George put in a solid performance.  Nice ending, too.  Eventually!
The trouble with the straight and the narrow is it's so thin, I keep sliding off to the side

Superbad - pretty funny, but it runs out of steam half way through. Michael Cera is the best thing in the film. Without his character acting as the coy shy and dry straightman, the film would be a mess.

Jellyfish

I haven't seen a lot of movies this year but the one I enjoyed the most was Die Hard 4.Justin Long was an excellent choice as supporting actress with Willis. This might be the best of the Diehard series.

Halloween Zombie style was real good...I like the way he went back into Myers childhood to explain his reasons for being the way he was,and the soundtrack is great.

Pursuit of Happiness...pretty good.....I think this is my fav Will Smith movie to date.....I Am Legend looks good too.

Georgia Rule...chick flick but ok...kinda funny and Lohan is damn sexy in this movie.

Dale.....the best movie I have ever seen about any race car driver. They really did a great job of putting all those old video clips together with interviews and such.I was never a fan of this guy as a driver but this movie made me respect him a lot more.

Hills Have Eyes pt 2......not bad for a sequel to the sequel to the sequel, lol. These mutants are terrifying and there is a graphic rape scene so it's not for the squeamish.

CARS....pretty funny movie but without Larry the Cable Guy( Mater) it would'nt be any good.

Just a few I have watched in the last 6 months.
