Oh god....I just saw a preview for Mama Mia The Movie....why oh why are they making this movie. ugh it was bad enough it was a "hit" stage musical, and that ABBA even existed. Is this movie one of the 7 Signs?

dragonboy

What are the 7 signs?
I won't be watching Mama Mia but I do LOVE me some ABBA!!!
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

7 signs that we are all going to hell I think. Worse off it stars Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan and Coleen Firth. All fine actors, but not in musicals......

The other day i finally saw Into The Wild. An inspiring story, i wish there were more people that think like that in this country.
Also, since asking about David Lynch I've now seen I think all of his full length movies. Inland Empire was hard to watch at times, Elephant Man was one of the saddest movies I've seen, Eraserhead was just bizarre and one of my least favorites. I'm now starting on the series Twin Peaks, and am saving the Twin Peaks movie 'til after I'm done. I'm really hooked on this show. I was too young to care about this when it came out and wouldn't have understood it anyway.
That's motherfuckin' John Oates!

QuoteI'm surprised that only two people on this board have seen I'm Not There.  It's about Bob Dylan and Jim James is in it.  Anyone else seen it and just not talking about it?  I was looking forward to talking to someone about it.

I don't think we ever even got it here where I live.  The town is like 65,000 in population.  Kinda small but I figured we would get it here.  Or maybe it's come and gone already.  Either way I'm downloading it!
We could.

WHAT WOULD JESUS BUY?

A documentary produced by Morgan Spurlock (Supersize Me) about Reverend Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping. Funny, moving and very timely during this season of massive consumption. Too bad it got shut out of so many cities/theaters. Check it out if you can and be saved from the Shopocalypse!

Everyone has a photographic memory. Some don't have film.

QuoteYou gotta see this beautiful film. The music alone made me cry and not because it was sad.

The best film I've seen in quite a few years.  Simply beautiful.

Joe Strummer: The Future Is Unwritten

Even if you only know a little bit about The Clash, it's worth it. I was touched by this film.
