Saw 'Gone Baby Gone' last night on dvd.

Was thinking it was going to be average in a Mystic River kind of way but it was excellent.

The trouble with the straight and the narrow is it's so thin, I keep sliding off to the side

I'm going to read the book now... I'll probably cry all over again, though. I don't think I've ever cried so much at one film!

Aguirre: The Wrath of God - Ok, slightly overrated.
Fitzcarraldo - Liked it more than Aguirre.
Rebecca - Masterpiece.
Crimes And Misdemeanors - Enjoyed this. It was on the On Demand list of free movies, witch is good because I haven't been able to find it anywhere.

That's motherfuckin' John Oates!

That's one of the funniest thing I've ever seen.  Hahaha...was that outside a movie theater?

I have no idea, but I just remember seeing the pic back when the movie was recently released in theaters and cracking up, then someone here seeing the movie jogged my memory  ;D

Fucking hysterical. I only find it funny because work was a MAJOR sponsor for the movie and we had all kinds of ties in that pretty much made my life a living hell. I have no desire to see or read this.

I cannot do this film justice. It's not a summer blockbuster kind of film.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City_Of_Lost_Children

It's very good and visual outstanding, which is kind of a trademark of Jean-Pierre Jeunet's films.

my most recent movies have been MILK (EVERYONE MUST GO SEE THIS NOW IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY!!!) and Happy-Go-Lucky, a goofy british flick that'll make you smile.
