Away We Go....so, so sweet.
Because we're all in this together...

Il y a longtemps que je t'aime (I've loved you so long) - a beautifully-paced French film, with Kristin Scott Thomas in the lead.  As The Guardian film review last year put it: a deeply involving, beautifully acted and expertly constructed human drama by and for grown-ups.

NB:  I would note that it was a rainy November afternoon spent with the missus.  There were no explosions or car chases, but there was quite a lot of talking.
The trouble with the straight and the narrow is it's so thin, I keep sliding off to the side

In that case I'll make a recommendation too - Ne le dis à personne aka Tell No One. Have you seen that one?
That's motherfuckin' John Oates!

...doesnt look like this one will be quite up to snuff with other recent Bateman and Vaughn flicks BTW

Tell No One is great - based on the Harlen Coben book.

Just saw Fantastic Mr Fox & truly fantastic it was!!! Wes Anderson fans will not be disappointed & if (like me) you're also a fan of children's films, books & animation etc you could well come out of the theatre thinking this might end up being your fav film of the year.
Very funny & surprisingly touching, I laughed, cried & smiled the whole way though!

Truly magical & enchanting....I want to see it again right now!!!  [smiley=thumbsup.gif] [smiley=thumbsup.gif] [smiley=thumbsup.gif] [smiley=thumbsup.gif] [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

Saw Harry Brown yesterday. Michael Caine was good but the film is not worthy of all the excellent press it has been getting in the UK.

I want to see Mr. Fox bad but I have not read much about it.  Would it be entertaining for kids?  5 and 7 year olds?  Or is it more of an adult movie that happens to be animated?
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

I thought this was pretty funny  ;D

I should think they'd love it. Like Up! it's as much for adults as it is for children but I think they are different parts of the story/characters/jokes etc that will apeal to all ages.

Let me know what you & your kids think of it  :)

Away We Go - I enjoyed it, but the film has a slow strange vibe going on. It's not really a funny movie or a black comedy, but the perfomances are good and the plot isn't predictable.

Fantastic Mr. Fox doesnt come out here until next wednesday  >:( :(

Im stuck seeing that Jim Carrey Christmas Carol now...reviews look decent though, and its in 3D
