God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

Had to double check that movie, but yeah, Ive seen Im Gonna Git You, Sucka!!

(it was actually made when I was 4 though)

Didnt remember that scene at all, but good flick. Great flick, considering what the younger Wayans have been making this decade.

I didnt remember Rock in New Jack either, but that movie is pretty good too.

I used love New Jack & I'm Gonna Git You, Sucka!! They're probably both a bit dated now & I'm Gonna Git You probably isn't as funny as I remember it.

Yeah, I'm Gonna Git You and Hollywood Shuffle and few others like that have not aged very well, sadly as they were the shit when they came out.

I would throw some Undercover Brother out there. Solid.

Quotenever saw JFK, or 13 Days, or Nixon, or a lot of those president movies...actually
Yeah but you saw Head Of State, right?

Sadly, yes  ;D

I love Rock's stand up, but his movies basically suck

That said, I thought I Think I Love My Wife was a good movie. Besides CB-4, his movies suck. I Think I Love My Wife is kind of like Rock doing stand up periodically in the movie, with actual funny scenes to boot

I Think I Love My Wife is actually a remake of Chloe In The Afternoon
Because we're all in this together...

watched observe and report after hearing alot of hate i thought it was a pretty entertaining taxi driver ripoff

I am yet to see Avatar, but Hurt Locker was amazing. Great acting, solid story and all around wonderful film.

Just saw Crazy Heart and Jeff Bridges was phenomenal. Excellent music, too.

I loved hurt locker, I was so tense the whole time. I love a movie that can do that to you. I just saw Avatar Saturday and was actually impressed. Not my favorite movie ever, but a heck of a lot better than what I thought it was going to be. Definitely not as good as the hurt locker
Shooting in the dark as to what's best

Lady Vengence- I think I like this one most out of the 3. I did not like the other 2.

Avatar is a landmark movie due the effects and everything, and if it wins, it clearly will be because of that. The story, dialogue, etc was nothing new or original, but also not so bad that I thought it detracted from the film

Havent seen THL yet, but Ive never seen a movie draw me in and amaze me like Avatar

Saw 'Food, Inc.' at the Ritzy (Brixton) last night.

See it if you can, gonna stay off the meat for a while...

Hawkeye

A Serious Man - about what I expected.  Depressing, makes you kinda angry watching it.  A thinker.

Paper Heart - cutesy, funny, gives you that warm and fuzzy feeling.  I liked it.

Bright Star - movie about John Keats.  Tragic story, talented guy Keats was, but, if you're not a huge Keats fan, you will be most likely bored.
We could.

dragonboy

Moon - very good but I expected more after reading so many excellent reviews.

Ed Norton back?! Cant believe it. He's had a few movies I liked a good bit/a lot over the last decade (The Score, Red Dragon, 25th Hour, Illusionist, Hulk, Pride and Glory), but not since The Score do I think he's taken on a challenging, interesting role and excelled at it like he did in the 90's many times and made me a huge fan after only a handful of movies.

Finally looks like he might have actually taken a role he couldnt sleep thru with Leaves of Grass. This movie looks great (not great picture great, but a movie I think I'll love)

haha nice... i enjoy when actors have to play two roles and  act with(?) themselves.

how good is multiplicity?
Oh I'll never say I knew you, but my heart can't wait to meet you on the other side

Funny that I posted that a couple days ago and then you bring up playing multiple characters.

I was at this test taking workshop thing for a class yesterday morning-afternoon, and I was cracking up. Totally reminded me of the Brian Cox screenwriting seminar from Adaptation. .

Im talking to a friend afterwards who I learn never saw it, and I tell him its a must see and might be in my Top 10 for the 2000's. And then I say the fact that it includes a naked Merryl Streep snorting basically the equivalent of heroin pretty much seals the deal that its great.

His response: Isnt she old?   ;D

...now is it just me, or do other people think it was hilarious/awesome that this movie has Streep letting her T's out and snorting drugs? Penelope Cruz does roles like this, Streep does Mamma Mia and Julie & Julia
