I just watched The Butterfly Effect. Great Movie. I think it´s the best movie with Ashton Kutcher I´ve seen.

Watched the first 3 episodes of Season 5 of Curb Your Enthusiasm. The sandwich episode was hilarious, The Larry David, The Richard Lewis, The Ted Danson  ;D

Apologies if anyone thinks we should keep this thread pure. (movies only, no TV) Let me know & I'll start a TV thread  :)
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

I'm glad you posted before me...

I just finshed off Season Two of Veronica Mars.  Man, do I ever love that show.  This season  was just about as awesome as the first.

Easy Morning Rebel

I saw Munich last night. It was great! :)

ALSO - anyone see  JESUS IS MAGIC? Sarah Silverman? pretty hysterical.
sometimes over the top but...

"I'm working on an open letter and it goes like this. Guess what, Martin Luther King, I had a fuckin' dream, too! I had a dream that I was in my living room. It wasn't my living room but it was, like, playing my living room in the dream. And I walked through to the backyard and there's a pool and as I'm diving in, there's a shark coming up from the water... with braces! So maybe you're not so fucking special! Martin Loser King! Yeah, I wanna be the first comic ever to shit on Martin Luther King because people only talk about the good things. They don't mention he was a litterbug. He would roll up all the windows and lock them and fart in the car with the heat up while his family suffered... and he would laugh. "
"The best time to have a baby is when you're a black teenager"
"I don't care if you think I'm racist. I only care if you think I'm thin. "
"I can't wait till Sunday, I'm gonna see my favorite niece and my other niece..."
ahhahahhaha.

Just saw The Illusionist starring Edward Norton and Paul Giamatti. Excellent film that I highly reccomend. This one has a twist at the end and everything comes together.
That's motherfuckin' John Oates!

That pretty much sums up the strategy behind ~90% of movies coming out these days.  A rare find is a real time stream of events kinda like the Lord of The Rings trilogy or the Harry Potter flicks.  Don't get me wrong, I actually like the "screw with my head til the end" flicks more than any--e.g. "Memento"  Holy shit!
Sittin' here with me and mine.  All wrapped up in a bottle of wine.

I watched Waiting the other day.  It had funny parts but some of it was just disturbing.  I also was not into Jesus is Magic.  It was all shock and no substance.  Godd title bad DVD.  Sorry, Face.

everyone should go see "Little Miss Sunshine". One of the few films I have ever seen where people clapped at the end.

Just watched The Hills Have Eyes. Reminded me a lot of Wrong Turn.

Oh and I have to get the 28 days later dvd. When I saw the movie a few years ago I didn´t know GY!BE. Today i read that in the first 15 minutes of the movie you can listen to East Hastings in the background.

I saw The Hills Have Eyes a few weeks ago and it was "ok" I had hoped for better but found it not much more intriguing than the remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Oh yeah and I thought 28 Days Later was friggin great.  I think the part that gave me chills the most was when the jet airliner flew over--way, way up in the sky.  Kinda like it was sayin'  "Rescue is a long way off friends..." creepy
