QuoteWatched Don't Look Back this afternoon, now I'm in a big Dylan mood.

You should follow it up with Eat the Document.  It's the same filmmaker with Dylan and the Band one year later when they were getting booed off stage for making beautiful music with electric guitars, if you can believe that!

Quoteeveryone should go see "Little Miss Sunshine". One of the few films I have ever seen where people clapped at the end.

H I L A R I O U S
I agree. Saw this over the weekend and it was one of the funniest movies I've seen in years.

The dude who plays grandpa is a freakin riot!
But seein you feels good, and its always understood.
That anything much sweeter would make me die.

Little miss sunshine was verhy good.....

Mr. T.

I saw The Wind That Shakes The Barley, yesterday night. It was an outrageously beautiful film!

Go out and see it...
We are young despite the years,
we are concern,
we are hope despite the times

Angel-A

Black and white Paris postcard by Luc Besson.  No explosions,  No car chases.  Lots of talking - and Rie Rasmussen's legs...
The trouble with the straight and the narrow is it's so thin, I keep sliding off to the side

I just watched A Tale of Two Sisters. I think it was the movie they made "The Grudge" after, but it was a very weak attempt. "A Tale of Two Sisters" was great, very scary in a psychological way. The movie is a Japanese (or something along those lines) movie so you have to read the subtitles. It's worth renting, it also come on the indie channel if you have it.

Tale Of Two Sisters is Korean  :)
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

Jacket Fanatic

Aaahhhh, Korean? I always get them ALL confused, it's hard for me.

I started watching Almost Famous again last night for the millionth time.  I can't get sick of it.  I'll be finishing it as soon as I can pry myself from this screen.

dragonboy

I saw X3 on the plane. Not anywhere near as good as the first 2. I also saw some of Nacho Libre which despite the bad reviews seemed very funny so I've ordered it on DVD.

Just finished Love Actually, and boy, did I ever love it.  Everything about it.  Especially seeing Martin Freeman and Keira in the same movie, that was great.

As far as uplifting movies go, it's right up there with Amelie in my eyes.

An inde film called "Southern Belles". It was a waste of my time. The star was Anna Faris, that blonde girl from all the "Scary Movie's". Just cant take her seriously even though it was not supposed to be a serious movie. Basically two southern girls, one named Belle the other named Bell, want to leave the trailer park behind and move to Atlanta. Long story short it never happens and the movie was no good. Sundance channel rules!

CastAway.

yeesh. the end of that movie just wrenches me somethin awful.

i don't know if i've truly been in love with someone to the extent where i could marry them, but that movie just evokes that feeling inside me. that is one of the worst heartbreaks ever, because nothing ever went wrong. and there was no reason it couldn't have worked.

"i never should have gotten on that plane"

except for that.

this movie makes me want to be vigorously in love with someone.

The river is moving. The blackbird must be flying.

The Departed

Whoa! (like that was a shock) Very good.

dragonboy

Hey TK - good to have you back!!!
How was your trip?

The Departed doesn't open here until March next year  :-/
