Ken Loach's Raining Stones - Ricky Tomlinson is one of my fav actors. Very good although slightly dated due to Stewart Copeland's lackluster soundtrack.
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

When doctors and undertakers meet, they wink at each other.

QuoteSaw Casino Royale the other night... It's one of the best Bond movies ever.

Yep it kicks ass  :)
Only one lesson should be learned: Never put Bond in a Ford. Not even for ten seconds!

Also saw The Proposition, which was excellent.

Just read that Philippe Noiret has passed away.
Cinema Paradiso is one of my favourite movies. RIP

QuoteNever put Bond in a Ford. Not even for ten seconds!

People say that, but what they really mean is Bond should never be seen driving a MODERN Ford... Afterall, Bond was in a '64 Ford Mustang convertible in Thunderball and NOBODY dare complain about that scene. It was candy red with a white top, and the chick driving it was a redhead... The imagery was of the hotness. The actress and the car.

In Casino Royale it's Bond by himself driving a fucking teal Ford Focus or some shit. It's just not cool. Worst product placement ever.

edit - I was actually wrong about the color of the car. It was powder blue with a white top. And it was a '65...

Meowwww.
--- and that's 2 real 4 u.

QuoteSerpico, and was darn good

yep. that scene at the ploice station where he arrests the guy who was a cop killer and all the other cops are acting like, What's the big deal? And so Serpico makes him empty out his pockets then throws the guy in the cell. Then Serpico sort of kicks at a chair that was knocked over, trying to pick it up, then he picks it up and starts slamming in on the ground? man, that there is one of my all time favorite scenes.

Yeah I saw that this morning too  :)
Stephen Merchant, Paddy Considine, Timothy Dalton, apparently Martin Freeman is in it too.
Can't wait to see this but I guess I'll have to wait for the DVD.

"For Your Consideration"
It was worthwhile to see, not in the same league as Guest's earlier films. Could've gone a lot further with most everything. Very funny, but in a painful, existentially anxious way (not unlike his other films, but this one to me seemed darker). Catherine O'Hara was excellent as always, and Fred Willard plays a similar role as in "Best in Show" but this time he's sporting a highlighted mini-mohawk. I appreciated the appearance of Ricky Gervais (the Office- British version).
Everyone has a photographic memory. Some don't have film.
