The Kids Are Alright .

Good Lord, that movie changed my life when it came out. I can remember being drunk and dumb at a movie theater, probably 15 yrs old, been drinking Tequila and  7-Up (yes, you read that right, Tequila and 7) and a friend of mine picking me up over his shoulders and twirling around 100 mph during the end of Won't Get Fooled Again and me puking the whole time, must have looked like a l was a lawn sprinkler. And that was back in the day when no one said anything about doing shit like that...

Sometimes when I need a lift I'll watch the Towsend's Woodstock solo or Young Man Blues.

My favorite is when Pete is talking about being in a certain "state" when he is on stage and so they go to a clip of him doing some solo, and his strap breaks and he catches his guitar behind his back with one hand. Amazing. I have watched that in slow-mo about 900 times.

Casino Royale.  Wow.  Easily in my top 3 Bond films.  Daniel Craig was nothing short of awe-inspiring, I can't wait for the next installment.

"Click", corny and funny at first, took a surprisingly bittersweet turn, but my son and I both enjoyed it because of the father-son connection message.

Street Fight.  It was a documentary about a mayoral race in Newark, NJ.  It's crazy to think some of this stuff still goes on.  The mayor shut down businesses for displaying signs of his opponent.  They bribed people, rigged voting machines, cut power to voting places that were expected to vote for his opponent.  He called his opponent a faggot, an uncle tom, a white republician(he was actually a black democrat), and a Jew (on the record).  And he won the race!  Crazy shit.  The good news is that was 2002 and he's now no longer mayor.
