God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

I love this film.  Have you seen The Proposition?
The trouble with the straight and the narrow is it's so thin, I keep sliding off to the side

what a...strange, yet fascinating movie.  fucked up and grody, but intellectual at the same time.

I hear you. 'tis a great movie. The scene with the blind old man with the radio still haunts me...

I think it's Levon Helm...
We are young despite the years,
we are concern,
we are hope despite the times

Ant Bully. It's pretty good, but probably more suited for young teens instead of all ages. Bruce Campbell steals every scene.

I must see this modern western... along with another modern western The Proposition with Guy Pearce - written by Nick Cave.

Yeah it's sat in my unwatched pile, looking forward to seeing it...

Talladega Nights. "Thank you baby jesus....."The bonus stuff is hilarious, especially the kids, Walker and Texas Ranger. That would be the coolest shit to do ever if you're a kid.
That's motherfuckin' John Oates!

I finally watched Kinsey. I'd been meaning to do so for over a year. Although depressing, it was worth the wait.

The Proposition is pretty full-on.  I loved it - it's exactly how you'd imagine a Nick Cave western.

Three Burials is just genius, though.  One of the best half-dozen films I've seen in the last five years or so.

I wish Ricky Bobby would come to my family's house on xmas to say grace and liven it up a bit.

Ricky Bobby: "I like the Christmas Jesus best, and I'm sayin grace. When you say grace, you can say it to grown up Jesus, or teenage Jesus, or bearded Jesus, or whatever you want."

Cal Naughton, Jr.: "I like to think of Jesus as a mischievous badger."
Everyone has a photographic memory. Some don't have film.

Just got Little Miss Sunshine in the post from Amazon, really looking forward to watching this!

Little Miss Sunshine - Hmm, not quite what I was expecting.
At times very funny, at times very uncomfortable viewing (no doubt intentional). I've never been much of a fan of Greg Kinear, this movie certainly didn't help.
Maybe I'll appreciate it more 2nd time around...

Have you seen Auto Focus, the film about Bob Crane of Hogan's Heroes fame? He's excellent as Crane, in a pretty sleazy and creepy role.
