I think another good one to start with is Zappa in New York (recorded in 1976), a great example of a Zappa band's prowess live on stage. Terry Bozzio as the devil on Titties and Beer, outstanding improv all over, and of course the Black Pages.

Now I want my Chrissy, and I want my beer...

Just bought my tickets for 'Zappa plays Zappa' on June 9th. Can't wait! Anyone going to an earlier show? I'm really hoping for a setlist since there's so much material, I have no idea what they'll play. I'm guessing alot of instrumental's.

Wow! Frank.

An absolute genius, no other words describe him.

Been listening to him since I was 13 and I'm now 50.

Nothing compares to him.

Listen to Hot Rats.

Says it all.
