I don't know how familiar any of you are with either of these ats, but I'm in love with this track these days and thought I'd share:

Quoteno where as good as the original.  I love the JLC version.

i got to see them once when they swung by (the now defunct wrax fm) 107.7 "the x" studio in the magic city.  i think i still have my "live in the x lounge" cd somewhere with "15 stories" on it.

if i find it, i'll hook you up. nice little gem of a live track.

(side note: man, i wish the x were still around. that station was IT back in the day--really turned me on to radio... one of the reasons why i'm in broadcasting today.)

I agree, the Jump Little Children version is better but sometimes it takes someone covering a song for me to appreciate its awesomeness.

My friend and ex-bandmate is a huge JLC, their his favorite band bar none.  So when I heard this song on the radio I remembered him playing it for me for the first time and was whisked away.  I uploaded so he could check it out and thought I'd share.

I agree sometimes a cover does make you see a different side of the song.  I had forgotten about this tune actually.  I remember hearing it a lot around 9/11
