3) The Jayhawks ~ Hollywood Town Hall

OK, the person that produced No3 also produced The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion.
The person that produced No4 also produced Metallica's black album.
The person that produced No5 was one of the biggest Nashville producers of the 70's. He also produced Charlie Rich, Johnny Cash, George Jones etc initials BS.
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

QuoteRacing car driver & Ann Margret!!!

Haha, lightning fast, that is really impressive!

Maybe I'll get another one up later.
But apparently, I should make those Elvis questions more challenging.

Haha, you were too kind with your question Serg!

Here's one more:

What Neil Young lyric was quoted by Kurt Cobain in his suicide note?
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

Jon T.

I'm paraphrasing here but it went something like..

"It's better to burn out than be overrated"   ;D

dragonboy

Haha, pretty much the gist of it  ;)

Got a question for us Jon?
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

Where did The Flaming Lips come up with the albume title "The Clouds Taste Metallic"?

'The Clouds Taste Metalic'

I know that Tool had something to do with this but can't remember any more.

As promised, another Elvis-movie question for Shinki Chen.

If he gets this one, he's definitely graduated from Elvis University.

In Fun In Acapulco, Elvis is seriously traumatised. Why?

Bonus point: Which actress is Elvis' love interest in this one?

Extra Elvis mega bonus point: Name a track from the soundtrack (not the title track!).

Smiths - What Difference Does it Make

and  #381 Bob Rock produced both Sonic Temple by The Cult and The Black Album by Metallica.

I used to love The Cult.  Saw them loads in the 80s...
The trouble with the straight and the narrow is it's so thin, I keep sliding off to the side

He's traumatised by heights. If I remember correctly he lost his brother in a circus accident? I might be getting my stories mixed up. But he's definitely traumatised by heights. At the end of the movie he dives off a cliff into the sea.

Ursula Andress is indeed right Greggy.

As for the song...other than Fun In Acapulco? You've got me there  :-[

Wondered if you might get that one Mark  :)

Have you heard the new album? I've read some terrible reviews...

Perfect plot summary there. The king indeed loses his brother after failing to catch him on the trapeze! Incredibly moving piece of cinema when he overcomes his fear of heights and dives of that cliff at the end.

However it surprises me you didn't remember some of the Elvis classics on the soundtrack, like Vino, Dinero Y Amor or There's No Room To Rhumba In A Sports Car   ;)

Back to "regular" quizzing now!

I actually checked my DVD, Bossa Nova Baby is on the soundtrack - that's a great song!

'regular quizzing'?

OK here goes...

After the deaths of Jimi Hendrix & Janis Joplin in 1970, which rock star is said to have told people repeatedly "You're drinking with no.3!"
& then proved them right by dying on July 3rd 1971?

God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.
