Modern Life Is War... A punk band that I adored in my highschool days that were filled with angst. They're now disbanded, but the hit "single" on their last CD was Stagger Lee, about Stagger Lee.

I stumbled into this thread for the first time in 2-3 months and just saw this. I had no clue they released a new album, I'll give it a listen. Just a thought without listening, this is their 3rd album in less than 4 years (and 4th album in 5 years), maybe they havent really given themselves time/the chance to evolve or improve.

Destroyer of the Void was disappointing to me, interested to listen to this since you compare it more to Furr and WMN
