(And they played A Quick One... Still waiting for MMJ to bring this cover back)

Ryan Adams solo at the Sydney Opera House. One of the best shows I've ever seen. It was incredible.

Last night my wife and I sat front row for Mr Martin Sexton. Guy is incredible. Doesn't take himself too seriously even with a voice of an angel.

I saw Van Halen in Bangor last week and it was amazing.  DLR has taken a lot of crap for his vocals lately but he was fantastic.  If you get a chance to see this tour, I would if your a fan of the old stuff, the setlist was deep and Eddie was on fire.

APR

I saw Hum last week.  It was a very good show.  They had a little extra downtime between songs which made for a little issue with flow and skipped a few songs from You'd Prefer an Astronaut that I hoped to hear.  But they played a "new" song..... one they wrote 15+years ago that was going to be on the new album that never happened.  The new song was definitely a hard rocker.

Right on!  I dig You'd Prefer An Astronaut.  Didn't know Hum was still around.

A couple weeks ago the wife & I saw Wilco at the Greek in LA.  Then we did the Red Rocks twosome with MMJ & Alabama Shakes & the Drive-By Truckers.  Going to see the Jesus & Mary Chain tonight.  It's been a good couple of weeks, that's for sure!!
Cuz it's been so long since someone shattered me.

manonthemoon

High on Fire and Pallbearer in Baltimore.  Holy hell that was maximum riffage straight to the face  but not really

Yea he kind of knocked it out of the park though.  The house band was amazing all night as well.  I will say though, Sunday night (I went Monday) Norah Jones did Unknown Legend and I definitely would rather have heard her if I had a choice between the two.  I was happy to see he was involved in it.  Most random guest of the night, Hyde from That 70's Show playing guuitar on "Throw Your Hatred Down"
