Davy Knowles - Hear Me Lord

Davy's take on the George Harrison song with Peter Frampton laying down a smoking solo, nice!

Northern Neighbour

I used to sneak into clubs and go to frat parties that I was too young to be at just to see this band. I just found this video on youtube. The White Animals circa 1982:

The Beatles - Happiness Is A Warm Gun (2009 Stereo Remaster)

Digging some Warm Gun last night eh sb?

Here's a cover of that song I always liked:

Breeders - Happiness Is A Warm Gun

Yes, this is much better than I thought it would be.  The original sounds like it was written by a man from a female perspective.  Kim actually pulls it off, it seems like she actually wrote it from her perspective as a female....... instead of just covering a song written by a male, from a female perspective.

If that makes sense.   If not, Oh well, Whatever, Nevermind.
There's Still Time.........

The often missed K/Red/Kaely would be proud of this. Nick Lowe is grossly underappreciated on this side of the globe.

Fruit Bats - The Banishment Song

Because I'm a complete sucker for a great falsetto. The last song I was obsessed with (before this one came along) was Portugal. The Man, Sleep Forever.
We understand it's the '90s.

I could totally see Jim singing this song--it's my favorite on the album--wow it's magical. I just sent someone an email about this song..weird..
