You were half right, Ruckus...

Glad everyone had a blast and made it in safe.

Somebody show me that Burwell.  Pretty please.

Spectacular!  The setlist, the show, the people, the tailgate party all matched the beautiful venue.  A giant group of us front row center rocking it out in a big way! And a Guy Burwell poster to boot.  Not really possible to have a better day than yesterday.

Someone else has to describe the show, i am too wiped out. Beth and I had SO MUCH FUN with everyone and will remember the night and our friends forever. We loved spending time with all you beautiful crazy folks, especially all you wild VIPs wearing bracelets who landed dead-center in the first 2 rows at Red Rocks.  You guys know how to party!

For our old friends who we have seen many other shows with to those great people who we just met for the first time, you guys are family. Thanks for all the smiles, laughter and great times!

... More later and will post some pictures when we get back to ny.
was some shakin' and some record playin'

Jeeeezzzee I cant get over the past two nights of my life. First, the Flaming Lips TORE RED ROCKS UP. covering "somewhere over the rainbow" "were off to see the wizard" and "if I only had brain" intertwined with the dark side. And the dark side sounded great, and crowd loved it. They finished off their set with one epic Lips song - Do You Realize. Such a great show, and us forumers were row 12 and didn't try to bust in early. That show was truely a once in a life time event.

But then yesterday happened....

Hanging out with everyone for several hours tailgating. Thanks to Mtn Girl for being the first one there and bringing us shelter! It was so awesome to hang with everyone, many of them for the first time this week! My favorite forum member was obviously CrazyLove (crazy ain't in her name for nothin!), but everyone was fantastic. Loved hanging with you guys! Hopefully there will be some sort of NYC event that brings us back together this year...

And then the show. First off The Bear INTO Steam was incredible.  After the high of watching the bear and then hearing Jim just sing "soooo... I do believe". Too much man, too much. Honest Man wa obviously something that always tickles our fancies. Then later toward the end of run thru they brought out the omnichord and I full expected to see touch me 2, but wait, STRANGULATION. I say all the time, Strangulation is literally my number one bucketlist song. And it only took 12 or so shows, but I'm glad it was at THIS show. I remember posting here that I had jokingly told my friend (pats cousin) that at red rocks they should play strangulation for my birthday. Maybe he got the message! The other highlight for me tonight was the Dondante tht seemed to be an hour long, just killer man.

The last thing I need to comment on I red rocks it's self. Besides the fact that it is the most beautiful place ever, it's still great venue. Tailgating in the mountains is awesome. Being in between two mountains is awesome. But my favorite thing is tht from where we were in the 1st two rows, you're looking at the band directly and not up at the band like its a stage. Just awesome. Not to mention the weather is fantastic!! A nice breeze seriously made the smoke swirling around and their hair swirling around look 10 times more epic. Just a great night all around

And my first burwell show, that doesn't hurt.
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

I am very tired, but happy I got to meet so many of the hard core MMJ followers.

You all got to see how spoiled we locals are to have Red Rocks for our shows.  It cracks me up that so many of you were so rooted in your great seats you didn't check out the epic night time views from higher up.

There was huge group photo taken that I hope is posted.

Can't really say  much more than which was said before except "bring more pipes next time" ;D.

VIP wristbands were special wristbands that TEO had made for the show and gave out to
Forum peeps.  They are mountain color camo that say Jacket Fest West on one side and JJ is God on the other. They kept us unified as a group.

if you guys are all going to be in line at 1pm...when are we going to party?  Just so you know...there is no bad spot at red rocks...if you get in the first 30 rows you'll be "golden".

Upper North Lot It Is! Leaving Durango NOW....see yall soon.  Everyone bring name tags.  Roll Call shirts?

Loved the Flag.  Thanks for including us in the note!!  Wish we could've spent more time together!
