Great, epic show. The Dark and Phone Went West were such pleasant surprises. Closest I've ever been to the band at a show. Love how they've started to dig deep into the catalogue for tunes on this tour.
and if all else fails, i'll come running back, wonderin where you went
with my heart.

this show was freakin amazing, was pleasantly surprised that there was no opener. so happy to hear phone went west, highly suspicious, the dark and lay low. and nic im almost positive it was u that i saw at mmj and black keys.

Why oh why did I not whip out my camera the second I heard the opening notes to "The Dark"?! Despite the fun I had jumping up and down, throwing my arms up in the air and generally losing my shit, I think that was the biggest mistake I've ever made at an MMJ show. The most recent YouTube video of this song is from eight years ago! Out of all the songs I heard during the T5 week, this was my absolute favorite. I didn't get a video of it then. And for some reason, the gods smiled upon me and the boys decided to blow the dust off this rager at Kool Haus, and I was too caught up in the moment to do what I should have done -- film the damn song. Dammit man, what a tune. Every MMJ fan deserves to see this song as played by the current lineup.

Anyway, this show fucking kicked ass.
