The venue let about 30 of us in for soundcheck around 4ish. They played Slow, Slow Tune, Outta My System, and It Beats 4 U. Awesome break from the 100 degree weather that is outside!

WOW. first off, got a signed poster and got to see the soundcheck! Second, they tore the roof off the place. My ears will be ringing for days. I thought the stl show was great but man this show blew it outta the water. They literary rocked so hard that all the lights went out during honest man. This was by far the best show Ive ever seen, the crowd was electric, everything went right. The boys were having an awesome time, at one point at the very end of one song, waiting for the last crunch/chord strum, pat reaches over and starts banging on tommys bass with his drumstick, it was great. So much energy in the smaller venues, i mean i got into it at Stl but man, i was pogo dancing, i never pogo dance. A. i have bad knees, B. I have a ten inch vertical. I felt like i was jumping 8 feet in the air.

P.s. I'm pretty sure i was the sweatiest dude in the whole place. I rocked the Fuck out. When the roadies came out and grabbed the set list the dude made sure i got one. I fuckin earned that bitch tonight

P.s.s Gideon tonight was amazing, Ive never heard them play the ending any other way, it was ending the same way with Jim doing the same guitar riff and the WHAM gust busting monster jam.

bearass

now now spinx i was just as sweaty and i believe i rocked harder :D got some pics ill throw on here soon

I just want to add that this was by far the most amazing Jacket experience that I have ever had. it was great to see ms.yvon again. Seeing shows just wont be the same without you. I got early entry and I got to see the sound check which was awesome, because I have never seen the guys in such informal clothes playing before. Jim was in a cut-off sleeve shirt, tom and carl wore sneakers and carl still had some bed hair.  There was maybe 25 people in there watching them play. Afterwords, I ended up getting a poster signed by all members of the band!

The set list for the night was great. We got a full Lay Low, It Beats 4 U and Honest Man. They played Honest Man so hard that during the last half of the song it knocked the lights out.

After the show, ms. yvon and I went to a bar and rehashed the show and how mind blowing it was and ended the night chatting with Tom for a bit before we each headed out from Kansas City.

Gah! It was an amazing night, I dont feel like I have accurately put it into words. Watched the Lolla show earlier and I am super, SUPER pumped for the Indy show tomorrow night! I can not get enough of this band!

Unbelievable performance fellas.  It's difficult to convey how special that night was.  I did my best, supported with a bunch of photos & hd vids of Victory Dance and I'm Amazed.
