My first MMJ show was at my first Bonnaroo ('04-Return to Thunderdome no less.)  This is my 8th Bonnaroo in a row and after the Palace show, Bonnaroo will be my 20th MMJ show.  Circuital-era MMJ has been good to me!  I've NEVER waited more than an hour to get in the pit at a Roo show but I'm planning on a 4-5 hour wait to be on the rail for this one.   :D

You are a true warrior and I wanna be standing by you at Roo!! (LOL) Louisville is my first Jacket show EVER!! And I can barely sleep already. So far there's 4 more shows on the horizon and I may still do Red Rocks and Santa Barbara. I just need the right push to decide to go with it. Twist my arm?

No twist needed.  DO IT!  Haha.  Living in the southeast it's been easy to go to some special MMJ performances over the years just by driving a few hours, but I have yet to see them out West.  One day a Red Rocks trip is in the cards for me fo sho.  But yes, we must meet at the big show next week.  And I'm down for the Roo too.  As special as the Palace show is going to be, 'Roo will be one for the ages for me.

I saw MMJ open up for Dylan at Red Rocks in '07 or '08 (can't remember off the top of my head).  Red Rocks is a superb venue and seeing MMJ only makes the venue even better.  I truly enjoy seeing the Jacket in an open venue.  Their music and the sky and breeze added with it is a truly great experience.

Im posting my question here b/c my attendance of this roll call hinges on this question:

Can I park outside the festival and take a shuttle into the grounds for a single day? I already have my 4 day band, but I cannot attend all days due to conflicts. Has anyone done this before?

It seems doable, but I cant find info anywhere on it. THANKS!

I don't know that there's a shuttle, but there is definitely day parking available (you can look for more information on the Bonnaroo site).
