Hello friends, it's getting to be crunch time for me to plan my Red Rocks trip. I have a few questions for Denver peeps... Best hotel to stay in for red rocks? I wanna stay pretty close, but still be able to check out Denver during the day, and money is obviously an object. Also, is the only way to get to and fro red rocks by taxi? This is gonna be an expensive trip... Lastly, busses to Boulder? Where do we find these and what's the damage to the wallet on these? Looks like we'll be flying in the 3rd and going to boulder the 5th, and flying back out of Denver the 9th. Any help planning my trip would be greatly appretiated!

Hey e, you might want to check out the Red Rocks/Jacketfestwest thread for some info. If you were thinking about renting a car, that could be a good idea, maybe even hooking up with some other peeps here who are doing the same thing. I think we might be arranging a party bus thing from Boulder to Red Rocks if you wanted to get in on that. You're welcome if you get the chance to join us up at my family's cabin, which is up in the mountains northwest of Boulder. In any case, hope to see you tailgating in the lot!
