QuoteKory, thank you for being savvy enough to record and upload.  Much thanks!

Thanks, though I am wishing I was savvy enough to be an audience taper like so many of these other fine folks are... I'm thinking of getting some equipment though.

Taping is a LOT of work.  Its incredible how much work it is to tape.  Gotta get there early, leave late, carry shit around.  Can't cheer during the show or cough when you drag a joint.  Can't get a drink or take a piss during the show.  Gotta "shoosh" complete strangers when they get loud, some people get touchy about it.  The potential for unexpected problems is always huge, even when you think you've covered all the bases.    I got some equipment years ago and taped a few Dead shows but found out that it was almost impossible to have fun while taping. The iciing on the cake was that every show I taped had a better source than mine.  BAck in those days, taping was a huge investment, but now maybe not as bad but it takes practice....lots of it.  There are some guys like Jim Wise who have taped so much good Dead and related stuff over the years, it boggles the mind.  I gave up...sold my stuff never did it again.  FWIW, I give tapers all the credit in the world, but as a fan of rock shows, Id rather enjoy the show than tape it.  Actually, I wish all bands would do what Pearl Jam does...what a wonderful world it would be.

Amen to all of that, especially the Pearl Jam part.

This might be my favorite of all three nights.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

Hey Kory--Any update on the fan recorded version of this show?

Thanks

Kory

I've put this up on Archive. Thanks to Kory for all the work back in the day to capture this. I left out any mention of it being a rip of the Sirius broadcast so hopefully it won't get taken down again.
