Does anyone on here like the Zac Brown Band?

I think we're gonna try to make this...It would be a nice little vacation in the fall.

My girlfriends sister likes/loves that red neck Zac Brown Band and she wants to see them now that i let her know that they were going to be playing this festival for 3 nights.  And want her to see a band that can rock like MMJ so we might be trying to go to this festival.  Does anyone know if this festival is a camping one?  I highly doubt it but still worthy of asking i assume.  Hope they announce some other dates also before they go overseas!  She wanted me to say this quote from Zac Brown "Cold beers on a friday night, pair of jeans that fit just right".  Cold beers on that Friday night is right!!  LOL later

I've got a gameplan, and if all goes well, I'll be there...
your planning skills would make a crazy female astronaut proud!

Now I have something to look forward to.  Does this mean Zac Brown plays after MMJ?

I believe that will be the case!  :o It's going to be tough following the Warren Haynes Band and MMJ on Friday. If you haven't seen the WHB, definitely make a point of catching their set. I caught them at Mtn. Jam and they tore it up!

I read somewhere (forgot to copy it) that Zac Brown is closing all three nights. Also single day passes as posted earlier will be available @ $57.00 per, and there are some type of VIP tix being offered as well as reserved and ga.

Does anyone have any idea how long MMJ will play for at this, or when we will find that out (when they would release set times)?

Might be able to make this work, but I'd be pretty bummed if they got anything less than 90 minutes, and would hope they get 2 hours.
My heart can't wait to meet you on the other side.

Yeah,I'd be bummed with less than 2 hours also.

If we don't get any NYC dates announced before then, I'm sure my lack of show jones will be kicking in big time, and whatever we get at this will have to be the fix I'll be needing.  ;)

I'm sorry but that line up is awful

Have you ever seen The Whigs in concert?  They will give most bands, including MMJ a run for their money.  First saw them with DBT in Asheville and they more than held their own.  Have seen them several times since then.  Julian (drummer) is unbelievable.   I know this is a MMJ board, and I am a big fan, but they are not the only band out there.

This is interesting.

On the Friday lineup, they have MMJ above ZBB. Every other day (Sat. and Sun.) Zac Brown is listed first. Wonder if that means Jacket is getting the headlining spot? Doesn't seem right, but hoping it's so. Pit tix are $94 for the day when all fees are added in. Not bad, but hoping for some kind of roll call deal.

ok, I broke down and decided to buy the Front Porch tickets.  Thought it'd be worth it for all the food and drink, but now it looks like those seats are off to the side and you can't see the stage good,  anyone else know anything about that?
If you don't know for yourself, how could you ever know for me....

Anyone else going to this??  MMJ play at 8:30.

Was thinking about going but now that the band is playing a show at MSG i think i might end up missing this one.  Can't help you out with any advice as far as the festival goes though.  Hope you enjoy this and hope they have a long enough set for you.

I'm with Sweet Nothing ... I had plans, but once they announced the Greensboro show, that made more sense. I was correct in that ZBB is playing before MMJ, which shows some massive respect considering it's their festival (but also how it should be). Imagine there's probably an 11 pm curfew, so you should get a rockin show if they come on at 8:30.

Clarkwork

ONly think I'm concerned with if is there are not enough Jacket fans there.  Hopefully there will be.  I'd hate to see people leave after ZBB plays.

I have several Right pit tickets available which we all know Jim plays the right side of the stage.  I had some friends bail on me.  So ill sell them for face value maybe even a little less.  Ill be at the fest for just one day bc I only want to see MMJ and WHB.  This will be my 5th MMJ show this yr.  thanks
