Rizzos Girl

Me & Rizzo will also be there for sound-check party and show.  Did they mail tickets or are they will call if you bought them through pre-sale??  Can't find my confirmation e-mail either.  Afraid I deleted it by mistake.   Trying to get my poop in a group before leaving town for L.A. on Thursday and I can't seem to find my own ass with both hands and an ass map. Sigh.

I seem to remember that at the onsale they were going to be will call.  I got an email telling me my LA tix were shipped, and email confirmations for both soundchecks. I never got an email about SF tix being mailed, and to look for them in a couple of days, like I did for the LA show, so I'm thinking they're at will call.
"Where's Jim going?"

I just checked my confirmation email which is completely unclear - but I did not get charged for delivery so I'm assuming they're at will call?   :-\ I emailed them to double check though...

Peek-a-boo!  I'll be signing in for this show too.  What time are doors?

Have we heard of any art for these shows?
God damn those shaky knees.

Hi, i don't think this question has been answered yet: Is the Grammy Soundcheck + Q/A the same thing as the Roll Call Soundcheck?  I assume the Soundcheck is the same, but was curious if, after the soundcheck, they would kick out the roll call members and start the Q+A with the Grammy members?

e_wind

if the band has any say in it, they wouldnt let that happen. they dont always have a say in it though.

WILL SOME ONE PLEASE ASK WHAT HES SAYING AT THE END OF STEAM ENGINE?
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

Has anyone been to a big rock show at the Bill Graham? Last time I was there was for a Beck show in 2003 and honestly, I can't recall how good it was... as in, is it easy to get close to the stage, to get a beer and use the bathroom, get back to your spot with your buddies, etc etc...? I know the acoustics are less than ideal, just wondering if it's easy to find your groove there for a good show, if you know what I mean...

jimmyjam

I've seen a number of rock shows there - the most recent being Soundgarden in July.  The recently upgraded the acoustics and it sounds much better than it did in 2006 (the last time I saw a show there).  Soundgarden was sold out and I was approx 20 people away from the stage. Still fairly easy to get in and out but would likely be more difficult the closer you are to the stage.

I'd just be echoing almost exactly what this person said, including my last trip to Bill Graham being Soundgarden. They made a lot of renovations to the roof to improve the acoustics. Security is pretty relaxed in my experience.

I'm not attending the soundcheck, but I'm thinking about leaving work early for the show. I had a front row spot in front of YY in Oakland in June. Shame there's no tape of that show — it was a monster.  :-\
Shows: 10.27.07, 9.19.08, 8.15.10, 6.24.11, 12.2.11, 9.15.12, 8.4.13, 10.26.13

Wow - better late than never - Just got an email saying that all pre-sale and soundcheck bundles are will call AND
"There will be a separate window for "Roll Call" members, so you won't have to wait in a ridiculously long line".      :dankk2:

does it also give a time schedule?

jaye

no - there is always something missing from their emails  ;D  But the other confirmation said will call opens an hour before doors open - which still means nothing to me because I don't even know for sure what time the show is.  I'm assuming show starts at 8, doors at 7, will call at 6 - but you know what happens when you assume....

Just called the venue
