It's not to bad at night but during the daytime you have to be careful.  They made me dump my good clean cold water at entrance and that sucked but other than that it was cool.

Also state laws have changed since then so it could be different.  Check NORML for details.

It's pretty lax as long as you're not an idiot, but there are undercovers.
Definitely chilled out the last couple of years as long as you are not a blatant moron...the mayor actually worked with the founder of the festival on this and has chilled out the cop presence

a lot of under covers in 2010. my best advice: don't buy/sell anything from/to anyone you don't know, and don't pull drugs out with no regard. just be smart. they won't go out of their way to bust you, but if they see it they probably will.
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

Southwest is a little different...the miles = points.  I signed up for that card a few months ago for 60,000 (I think) points (2 free round trips) .  I've used a round trip and a one way so far and still have 15000 or so points left.  I think my one way from EWR bacck to New Orleans over the holidays cost 15000 points.

Anyhow, if you're going to apply do it now.  It takes forever for the points to show up in your account.

+Just to get back to this post, i signed up for the Southwest rapid rewards VISA card and upon first purchase, you get 2 free flights! (no other strings like Nova said above)..

+also, about a month or so ago, i signed up for the DELTA sky miles American Express card and upon spending 500$ in the first 3 months, you get 30,000 miles (about 300$ off a flight) my points showed up after 2 weeks!?

+i use the Expedia Mastercard the rest of the year and it ends up giving me at least 2 free flights a year.

Just wanted to post in case you're wanting to get some deals---didn't spend anymore than i normally would-but moved around the card spending. I plan on cancelilng the Delta American Express after a year (first year the fee is waived but there IS a small yearly fee with that one)..

Wow...you already got your Southwest miles?  They took forever to deposit the miles into my account after my first purchase...which may have been the yearly fee...maybe that's wehre I goofed.  :embarassed:   ;D

I haven't used my southwest card, but they said about 6 weeks to credit when i called this AM. Going to purchase something today to get it started...Delta was FAST!
