So many of us use spotify's service, I thought I'd start a thread where we can post spotify playlists that like. By the way, I didn't make any of these, you can see who made them when you get to spotify.

Here's one that I'm listening to today:

Songs For Space Travellers

and here's one for Forecastle:

Forecastle 2012

Another one:
Upbeat Indie 2012

Not to pimp myself, but this one I made is really good.
Dinner Party Music

So is this one. Not a "playlist" in the traditional form, but a fantastic mix
Northern Soul Box Set

This is great also
Sunday Porch Music

One of my oldest friends is an author and these 2 are playlists based on 2 characters in from her books.

sorry to go off a little, but do you guys pay for this service? is it like napster where you have a monthly subscription fee?

It's a free account, but you can upgradge for a nominal fee. It's all streaming. Never used Napster...at least not the legal version so I cannot compare it to that. 95% of what I've ever looked up has been on the free version.

The only reason to upgrade to a paid account would be if you want it on your phone. I listen all the time at work and at home. There are very few artists that are not on there. I have found more new music with spotify than with any other service I've used. Also, I love the sharing part of it. If there is something that I really love, then I'll buy it. Otherwise I just listen when I'm on spotify.
