I'm not sure if Ive posted any of these before, and I can't figure out the right formatting for most- but here mine is! The alpharetta one has one of Carl's picks that I picked up off the ground inlaid into the matting

P.S. Nice one ophidiophobia

Wow the Alpharetta one looks awesome. I'm definitely gonna use thatPick idea for the picks I have from St Louis. Though I may use them with a different poster cause I don't particularly like the St Louis poster.

I was happy with that one! I don't know if your local framing store will do this, but mine put the pick in for free too

ok...

so i e-mailed brammer around november and just asked him if he happened to have a t5 poster just laying around somewhere that didn't get sold and of course he didn't but he did say he was doing a special run of his Chicago show print (rufus firefly started a post about it) and offered to sale me that poster. of course i agreed and he mentioned the fact he may be doing some custom frames and for me to just keep that in mind. well i thought about it and e-mailed him and told him i would definitely like the custom frame, museum glass, and just to deck it out. he then e-mailed me back and told me that since i had just basically told him to make it look like whatever he wanted that for a little bit more he would make it very unique and all this stuff so i told him that since i never do anything like this and had been saving my money that i'm sure when he designed the poster he had a frame in mind so i just told him to make whatever he envisioned it to be. And boy am I happy with it. Those are real leather straps on the corners and he crushed red velvet into the top to match the curtain.  my favorite part is the peacock pendant. and the fact he signed it to me. after 3 and a half months and abot 30 emails later here it is...

Great job on that frame job by Brammer!!!  It looks very similar to his style in his non poster works so it is just amazing!!  I purchased the Z frame from him a month or so before he sent out the email that had options for getting frames with museum glass and matte etc. so I wish i almost waited a month more or two to get one like this but for the Z poster.  The poster frame i got is great as it is but this just blows it away, any chance you could let us know what the cost of this frame job was?  Again super nice frame job and i love what he did with the matte in this frame, everything goes so well together.  Anybody happen to get a Z poster frame job that is of the upgraded variety, if so please post some pictures?

Wow. I am impressed with the beautiful and creative framing in this thread.

I've used the same sturdy black frame with double mat scheme for all of my show posters, so I can mix and match. I like to change them up between home and the office.  All were done by Hobby Lobby. Sorry my iPhone photography is not the best. Here are some of them:

MMJ Detroit 10/04/08; my favorite of all of my framed posters.

MoF in NYC 11/08/09  (Alongside The Black Keys in Detroit)

MoF in NYC 11/06/09

Yim Yames in Louisville 02/14/10

MMJ at Bonnaroo 06/10/11. I love the colors!

Roll Call. This one is right inside my office door and gets a zillion compliments.

I also have MMJ Columbus Ohio 2010 and the signed Schuba's Obama fundraiser (which was cancelled after Jim's terrible fall). I'll try to get those posted soon.

Great posters Ledbetter!!    You have some real beauties.  PM sent.

Devil Ledbetter

Thanks Penny & Mahg33ta.

Here are a couple more:

Columbus OH, 05/02/10. This was my son's first concert ever (at age 9).

Signed Schuba's poster for Yim Yames' Obama fundraiser (this show did not take place because of Jim's stage fall earlier that week).

Signature detail.

My husband dislikes Obama (Obama isn't liberal enough for him  ::)) so he sometimes takes this one down. I always find it and rehang it someplace else, without mentioning it. It's been in the home office, it's been above the piano, it's now in the upstairs hall. The conversation usually goes like this ... him: But I hate Obama. Me: I know you do, but it's Jim James signature!

Wow, DL, you actually found a way to make those spring 2010 posters look great!  I've got three, which might make a nice Warhol-esque display. Nicely done.

Thank you! It's not their most creative show poster by a long shot, but I wanted to do something nice with it to commemorate "the baby's" first concert. ;) He was just asking me last night when he can see MMJ again. Forecastle will be his first festival.

Both of my kids consider Z the best album ever. Hard to argue against that.

Here's my first contribution to the thread, just picked it up today:

I have fallen in love with this poster, and now I have to have it. Anyone have one or seen one anywhere?

e_wind

I recently moved and now have some wood paneling at home (gun to head emoticon here). I tried hanging my posters with command strips. While I was out of town last week three of my posters fell. I'm now down 2 shitty frames, one incredibly nice frame, and my absolute favorite poster has scratches in it.

Not happy over here. anyone else have wood paneling? Should I just take the plunge and put holes in the wall?

Yes. Take the plunge, and don't worry about the holes. It's nothing a little wood putty  won't fix when you move. ;)

I love mine too. I bought it and was walking out of Stubb's to put it in my car and I heard a guy say to his friend "that idiot just spent 30 bucks on a fucking poster." still pisses me off.

A year after the show I got it signed at ACL by all the MoF. Jim and Conor hadn't ever seen it and remarked about how cool it was.
