Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. I wanted to make it a whole family affair, but my son will be off seeing BassNectar!    No accounting for taste, but glad he at least has a passion for live shows like the rest of us.

Thanks Fully. They're both a lot of fun, and I know they're looking forward to meeting all the great peeps dad is always going on about, as wel as gong to the show. 

If all goes well they'll be off to MSG the next night for Phish, and back home to St. Augustine  sometime Saturday.

Your kids are lucky they've got such a cool dad. You could have some boring hobby that wouldn't be as much fun to hang out with you at - like bridge tournaments or knife shows. Or you could make them go see the Rascal Flays. Gosh, the more I think about it, the more I realize how lucky they really are!

Just found out my daughter's externship ends on 12/21, so it looks promising for her, and my future son-in-law to be  joining us on 12/27!    :happy:

Great to hear you're making it a family affair and looking forward to meeting the up and coming generation that shares your good taste in music. Hopefully you were able to meet my daughter a few weeks ago before her first show at MPP with my son-in-law (who I broke in at the MMJ show at DAR Constitution Hall in DC back in 2008 before they were married to make sure he was worthy )

Hey, is anyone else surprised that none of the Port Chester shows are sold out given it's a relatively small venue, no repeats, and of course much more?  Only floor for the Sat show seems to be unavailable.
I'm sure they'll sell out eventually but, really?

I'm a bit surprised, especially since the presale tix were gone in a heartbeat. I thought that was a combo of demand, and lack of tix made available. Looks like it was more the latter.

I'm sure they'll sellout by show time, and if not, that would surprise me.

Looks like NYE has sold pretty good so far. Still a few floors, but in the back sections, and anything more than a pair in arena reserves will put you in the sections beyond center ice. That said, there are still some sweet singles. and pairs available in arena reserves.

I think all of these shows will fill up nicely, and they're still three months away, and around the Holidays like Fully said. A lot of folks might be waiting to see how their Holidays play out.

I think especially for New Years a lot of people are up in the air on plans until the last minute (except of course for MMJ fans this year) but they want to do something.  I was concerned NYE 2008 that they would have somewhat of a light turnout but a ton of tickets sold in the last couple of days to make it seem like a full house (uppermost level was not occupied).  If there are any tickets left close to NYE this year, I'm sure they will sell quickly at the end like NYC.

Hopefully the NYE show this year sells out along with the expected sellouts for Port Chester.
