don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

Yeah-I completely spaced that I met bigeazy and rjlemons! Very nice meeting both of you! Lemons- we probably talked about it, but do you live in the Nashville area? I'm always looking for people to go to shows with.

Hey all...it was indeed a magical night, and I felt so blessed to be there with all you lovely people.

I feel inclined to apologize...because I think that I was responsible for some of those cat calls...and it truly saddens me to think that anything I said or did was offensive to anyone or diminished their experience.  I am already a pretty high energy person, but the absolute joy of being in that room perhaps got the best of me...so for my part, I am genuinely, genuinely sorry. You folks were such wonderful people and I will never be able to express how happy I was to be there.  I just hope I didn't ruin anything for anyone.
Mamakel, I wasn't at this show but I think it is sweet of you to apologize, assuming you were the screamer. A little self-awareness can go a long way.

When I was at Jim James at the Seelbach 3 years ago, someone up front just could not keep from screaming. I can't say it ruined the show -- nothing could have ruined that night for me -- but it did detract. To this day it detracts from the bootleg (I'm sure you can hear her if you listen.) I know that wasn't you because that screamer was a brunette. Lol.

Take care. DL
We understand it's the '90s.

That was you, mamakel? I think I have to apologize too for being so rude in my original post. We all get carried away sometimes. Maybe that's why Carl wrote that song? Anyway, apology definitely accepted. It didn't ruin the show, it was just a bit more than what feels comfortable when all of us are figuratively sitting in the band's lap the way we were last night.

Fully

I like your typo better than what you probably meant " live this band with all my heart" I know exactly what that means. I think we all do. We're good, Kelly. Now let's get back to discussing this new, very nice suit Jim's wearing and his weight loss. I'm guessing he's lost about 25 lbs. good job, Jim Ed!

Fully

Ok, now you have gone too far! Never compare Jim to Trey Songz unless he changes his name to Jim Jamez. Completely unacceptable metaphor! ;)

bigeazyfish

You cracked me up , Kel. Your energy and high spirits led to Saved By the Bell songs, Irish accents, and a story of your son's love of Gogol Bordello's "Start Wearing Purple"... Now how am i gonna be upset with that?!

besides...  ALLLLLLLLLLLisFORGIVEN

In case anybody is wondering, if it hasn't been done already, I may have solved the case as to how to pronounce Jim's last name. I was waiting by the door last night when several of Jim's family came in and when the door guy asked for the name, they told him it was "Olliges." It is pronounced like the word "colleges" but without the "C"   :bath:

Sheets Of Clay

The girl standing next to me took all of these...

Hello all roll call fans starting with us all at 12 south tap under the bears most of whom I met last night for the first time.  You're all friendly people.  Many thanks for the southern hospitality. And the wonderful thread that runs thru all of us that ties us to this band and all the boys in it.  Having I hope I can download a couple of pictures.  My memory isn't always the best, but kudo's the 2 U/Kentucky boys.  Thanks fo being so friendly and reminding me that maybe I can tour the whole country to see the band.
Beth - Fully, I'm glad I got to hang next to you on the rail.
Mama Kel...what a great adventure we had together...echoing victory dance in the hotel even before we knew that Jim would play it.
So much joy.  I can't enough how lucky I feel to have been there and right up front.  And one of the nice guys on stage breaking down all the instruments gave me one of Jim's picks.  That made my night as I play guitar.

GO4IT

Thanks everyone for posting tidbits and pix - almost felt like I was there, reading through all of the posts.  Sounds like you were very lucky folks and I'm glad you were all able to make it.
And Carl?!?!?  What an added bonus!!!!

pattilovesmmj

How could I have forgotten to write about him in my last post.  I have to say hearing him start with Don't get carried away was so beautiful.

This is all I've found so far. It's 19 minutes long as so far it just cuts off after a little of each song, but maybe it gets better. (Edited - It gets better though it does cut off some, but the guy that posted this gets props for including a lot of the night) He was standing behind me to the right. I can see allyclover who just joined the forum and my hair during Wonderful and Victory Dance.
