I'm thinking that Jim's solo shows will be the entire album for the first set, and then covers and MMJ songs during the encore.  At least thats what I am hoping for and I know the entire album concept has been mentioned.

If Jim does play some MMJ songs during his shows, which do you want to hear?

I've been listening to the "Top 40 Hits" collection a lot recently and some standouts for me are Masterplan and The Bear.

He said in an interview that they would be playing some MMJ stuff.

I have to say, at the Jim and Carl show for Obama last October, they closed with Day is Coming on Omnichord and it was pretty great!
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

He wants the show to be a danceable affair, so maybe something more upbeat.

Would he play the MMJ tunes with the band he has put together, or solo acoustic?
I wonder why we listen to poets when nobody gives a fuck

I think Cobra would fit in pretty well here

I sometimes picture a dark european disco late in the morning playing - "Know till now"  Maybe not necessarily a dancing song, yet I find I keep seeing this in my mind.  Walking in late and hearing the song, dancing away............

I bet he'll play a couple of MMJ songs - interesting what he might choose!

Perhaps some MOF material?  Losin yo head?  Dylan cover - Girl From the North Country?  John Prine? :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy:

I doubt he would pull this out due to their melancholic tones, but HOPEFULLY, IWBTWYD and STRANGULATION! They'd make me dance

Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be interesting.  The album is pretty short so that leaves ample time for plenty of other stuff.

I just hope the new album is played from start to finish.  After listening to the album I don't see how else it would be done.  And the last song has got to close the show.  I'm thinking an hour of random stuff, a short break, and then the new album.
Y'all got any disco ball back there?
