That was amazing. That performance got me a little emotional to be honest.

headhunter

wow, that was good.  The Roots add so much to that song.  Fun to watch.
was some shakin' and some record playin'

I liked this arrangement. Scosby pointed out that they are all using Jim's guitars.

BigHerm

That was awesome.

Is Jim performing tonight or is he just sitting in with the band?

That's even his bass from various App Vox shows and the Headliners show in 2010.

Jimmy Fallon's reaction is Conan Obrian like. Awesome.
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

Was that meant to be a music video? The camera work and choreography of the musicians was fucking fantastic! String section were all smiles. Jim looking straight into the camera; he's really putting himself out there! Good on you Jim!

That was freaking awesome; I had to watch it on repeat.

How is he sliding backwards across the floor?  The camera hides his legs, so I can't tell.
I wonder why we listen to poets when nobody gives a fuck

I showed the video of this to my buddy who appreciates Jim's work but hasn't exactly caught the bug yet, and his reaction was incredible.  Just sheer awe of the performance.

This is going to be one helluva tour.
some get stoned, some get strange, sooner or later it all gets real.

I have too many friends like that.  Hopefully I can get one of them to sit through it and appreciate it.

I feel like I'm at least partly to blame for the amount of people I know that are like that.  I always say I'll make a mix and never follow through on it.  Things get in the way, but I shouldn't let them.  I should go make one now...

Holy crap this is amazing and has me so excited for these shows. I have been watching this video on repeat since last night.

It's hitting me hard as I am sitting in an airport getting ready to head back to my "old life" for a week to take care of my mom who will be recovering from a major surgery. This song in particular has hit me hard emotionally and has made me appreciate all the "stardust" that is around me in my new life I am living.

I have sent this video to a dozen or so of my friends I could never get into MMJ and they have all responded more or less with, "holy crap, I just witnessed something special, who is this guy?"

Be well everyone!!
Mona Lisa must'a had the highway blues, you can tell by the way she smiles.

I stayed up late to watch Jim and of course, as usual he was magnificent.  And Jimmy seemed to give him props!!!

OMG, that was sooooo joyful I got choked up!  It is obvious all involved are nothing but thrilled to be there performing together.  AWESOME.  :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy:

And, to know how vulnerable and uncomfortable Jim feels with the camera in his face and he just killed it.  A real pro.

Love the suit, the sweet smiles, the awkward dancing.  Love. The. Man.
Give me a butt load of reverb on this one - just pile it on.

I made a mix for a friend of mine full of some of their easier to digest tunes, but I am pretty sure he hasn't even listened to it once.  He is hooked on Mumford and the Keys, so he has a long way to go.

The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

Yeah, that New Life was pretty badass. It almost felt more like an SNL performance than just one of the late shows.

Psyched for tonight, hoping for State of the Art but not holding my breath. Just set the DVR now, didnt realize Local Natives were also performing on Fallon tonight! Fuck yes!!  :bath:
