Holla if you got a dolla (ticket) to the show! :drum:

I was hoping to have VIP/Soundcheck for this...oh well. What's the Ogden Theater like?

Here is the theater's Facebook event for the show if you want to RSVP: https://www.facebook.com/events/485856464805089/

The Ogden is very cool.  An old theater built in the early 1900's i believe.  A couple of tiered floors and side balconies.  It wasn't that long ago that MMJ played an incredible 2 night run here.  Capacity is ~ 1500.  Will Call opens an hour before doors FYI.

Good luck comes from trying.

I saw my first two MMJ shows here. I was so blown away the first night I had to come back  of course.  Looking forward to this one.

Well this is embarrassing. I bought tickets for Todd Rundgren in July, and then it popped in my head I still hadn't bought Jim's Ogden show. It's sold out!

So if an extra is available, I am available to buy it.

Thanks,
Charles

Anyone with an extra ticket? Please PM me.

The Ogden is one of the best theatres in Colorado. I saw one of the best shows of my life there. Its a really nice, fairly large place with a great pit up front. You will have fun.

Rizzos Girl

Late to the party but Rizzo and I will be there. Was hoping to get in line early to ensure a spot on the rail but its looking like we'll be getting there later than I would like so I'm trying REALLY hard not to have GA anxiety. And accept the fact that maybe I don't have to be on the rail to enjoy the show.

I was at an all-GA show Tuesday night.  Doors opened at 7pm, show started at 8pm.  I decided to relax, take my time, grab a bite and a beer, got to the theatre at 7:20, hung around the merch table and bar, sat about 1/2 way back during the opener, then managed to get to the back of the pit for the headliner.  It was a fine time, perhaps made better by not worrying about getting the rail.  Granted, this wasn't a JJ or MMJ show, but still... Oh, and the sound is better further back.
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

When I go to the Ogden, I prefer to stand one level up, against the drink rail behind the front pit, usually near the tapers. I don't need to feel Jim's sweat. I hope the early entry works, because I need to get there at about 6:45. Would prefer to avoid as much rain as possible while waiting too.

Encores from the Denver show? Anyone?

The entire encore is amazing. You got all of the songs too. I think His Master's Voice is my favorite although I have no complaints at all about how the rest of them sound on this tour.

Rizzos Girl

Oh I heard MY masters voice alright. Sigh.

Seeker

What a great show! I sort of thought it would be mellower, like Eddie Vedder solo, but it rocked pretty good. What a voice, what a talent! Great band too. I am going to try to see him again at Telluride in September.
