My BIG question, for those of you who were there, is,what was the reactions of ZBB fans to MMJ?Were most reluctant to give them props because they were the opener, or were some starstruck and amazed, like they should have been. I could only handle 4 or 5 of their songs on the webcast before I got bored and thought it was Cheese Country. If they toned it down, they might be a lot better.

Being on the rail, it was hard to get too much sense of the crowd, but there was a definite throng of ZBB fans that were working their way toward the front during MMJ's set and were pretty uninterested in/unphased by MMJ.  Someone who was further back in the crowd could probably give a better answer.

I'll say this, though, after being in a ZBB crowd, I never, ever want to be in something like that again.  Those people freaking sucked.
My heart can't wait to meet you on the other side.

They are very similar to the people who go see any mainstream country act. I will say that I didn't mind listening to his sound check. The boredom during the manufactured sound of the opening act Saints of Velour was not enjoyable. I was completely fine with leaving after Jacket. After talking with Whippy, I do think that ZBB could sell dental insurance in their merch store as a public service to their fans. Lots of missing teeth which I had to assure Whippy is not a common thing in the south. In fact, I know lots of people who have all of their teeth - old people excluded for obvious reasons.

Never been to a mainstream country show. The closest I could say would be the Jayhawks, or DBT, which were pretty typical MMJ type crowd. ( just had an image of a Louris/James duet, and got chills) On second thought DBT fans were a little more redneck, but not in a bad way.

I went to a Rascal Flatts show one time so my daughter could see Taylor Swift open for them. There was a very similar crowd there. Then there was the time I saw George Jones at a Walking Horse arena. Talk about missing teeth. It was one of my favorite shows for the colorful crowd alone. Great grandmothers without bras or dentures. Men in overalls and no shirt (it's sexier if they have a large belly). It just doesn't get better than that. High percentage of chewing tobacco products in that show. We had to be careful not to pick up our neighbor's spit cup when we put our beverages down. I'm not exaggerating about this at all.

Well, this just reenforces my impression of MMJ crowds. Nothing like them. I have taken about 10 friends and family to MMJ shows, aged 17-57, and they ALL remark on what an eclectic and friendly crowd. 35 years of concerts. No audience better.

There was the most awesome kid who waited with us and hung Putin the rail with us. He was 14 and has already seen 40 shows. He had even made it to Pearl Jam's rail. Along with him was his friend who was going to his first show ever. It was like meeting a young Whippy or Penny Lane.

As far as the show, it was a standard setlist, but the band played well even amid frustrations with the mix and Jim's mic stand. I would enjoy seeing a rip of the live stream did anyone capture that?

Also, I hope manonthemoon made his plane. We had a great group to hang out with, and met several new people. The crowd was interesting to say the least. Very dedicated Zac Brown fans.

The young kid was awesome, glad they finally brought up some MMJ merch as I think he ended up with a signed CD that he was stoked about.

Overall I had a blast and was really excited about the setlist given you knew it was going to be bigger more newer songs that are a little more fast paced given the crowd.  I thought they did a great job going heavy on Z and the only song that was a little bit of a let down for me was First Light.  But anytime I get Anytime I can't complain, love that song, plus the base on VD was insane being on the rail.

Thanks for asking, Fully, I did make my plane even though I was sprinting to the gate during the final boarding call on my bum knee from falling down the hill earlier on the wet grass.  Totally worth it though, just meant a lot of ice and elevation this weekend.

It was great seeing Whippy, Fully, and Seth again and meeting Yackaroo and Megg33etta(I think).  Totally worth the trip down.

Dont stop, Dont stop.

As far as the crowd goes most of the people who showed up early were MMJ fans, so the closest to the stage were those.  I am sure more ZB fans showed up later on, but didn't really end up talking with any or meeting any really.  Just a huge amount of people in the park so was hard to move around in general.  Of course I come from an area where country is king, but the most country show I've been to other than bluegrass which my father likes, is DBT so I didn't see too much of a difference between those and most of the people at the show.  Of course the funny thing was the CSC staff guy who was right near us and was talking about how he figured there would be fights on Saturday night since Luda was preforming, so it could be worse.

You just gave me my new signature. I don't know why I hadn't already thought of it.

I'm so glad your knee isn't badly damaged. As awesome as watching you soar through the air  was - I mean you were really vertical for several seconds  - I really worried that you had hurt yourself.  Also thrilled you made your flight. It was great hanging out with you. I particularly feel bonded to you after making it through Saints of Velour or whatever their name was. rjlemons, Holls, the guy beside scosby was pretty awesome to hang out with too. All in all, we had a great group of people on the rail.

I'm not sure where I am. I hope it's got that far. I was at 66% when I left for school this am.

I'm stuck at 95% too...I'll seed if I can get it downloaded.  Does anyone know if it has to be completely downloaded to play? I'm ok with just watching 95%, since I've never been to a show where OBH wasn't played.

Mahgeetah34, but close enough . It's good  to meet fellow fans of the greatest band on earth.

It might not be that packet of files that's missing. Hopefully, Timescraper will see this and make sure that he's still seeding. I'd send him a pm, but I'm in the middle of class. I'll do it when I'm free.

bhyman

I'm getting a "connection failed" error just trying to kick off the torrent. Are there any seeders out there?

I can't confirm for sure, but that looks pretty much the way I remember it.

I'm stuck at 95.7% as well.  If anyone grabbed the full file, please seed!!!
