Anyone got a complete setlist?

Also, was Lay Low pretty standard or did they do any sort of extended improv jamming on the end like they had been on SCS?

At dawn
Outta my system ->jam
First light
Lay low
Where to begin
Golden
Slow slow
Victory dance (Jim on sax)
Off the record
Phone
Gideon

Might be out of order or missing one, but that's pretty close.

Lay low seemed pretty standard

Left of smokin
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

Can anyone explain why Thompson was onstage with Wilco? I saw a picture, but there was no explanation.

They'd played a long song, unfamiliar to me. And then they played California stats together.

Tweedy said he was going to bring out his best friend when Thompson came out.

Maybe it was one of Thompsons. Was it about a motorcycle or maybe called Calvary Cross?

I don't want to steal Whippy's thunder, but he says it's a song called Sloth that Thompson did when he was with Fairport Convention. I knew he of all people would know what song it was.

Fucking SLOTH!!!!  It's only the Holy Grail of songs for many RT fans. He's probably played it once or twice in the last 30 years, I'd guess. I've never heard it once live after years of seeing RT.  Rife with possibilities for extended soloing on electric guitar, something RT does far too little of, IMO.  I'd have felt like the heavens opened and a beam of light streamed down upon me if I'd been at tonight's concert.  Hallelujah!

They definitely jammed out for a long time on Sloth tonight. It was very long

According to Wilco's twittah, Thompson also played on California Stars with them. Whippy, how do you feel about this Sloth thing?

Actually, Shug, not true about how rarely it's been played.  He played it quite a bit in a solo acoustic arrangement in the last few years.  I've seen him do it that way 2-3 times.  Still different than a full on electric treatment as he just did with Wilco.
My heart can't wait to meet you on the other side.

Shug

Solo acoustic doesn't count, too short!   Its gotta be a long electric version with a full band for it to really soar.  Those versions from the 1982 tour are some of my favorite RT of all time!

Video of Gideon......literally shot from the hip to avoid detection!
They shut me down during RT ( got a couple though) and halfway thru Off the Record.
Easiest for Dylan, after dark,& dark stage. Will post later.
The boys KICKIN ASS on this one!
