My theory is they're gonna need an incentive to sell some more memberships and tour dates always do the trick. I would be shocked if we haven't heard any news in the next few weeks.

It seems too early for tour dates, unless we are getting the album sooner than expected.  Or, I could see maybe a few summer shows, but not an all-out tour before the album drops.

I wanted the AD shirt, but had to settle for the bear shirt.

Doesn't Roll Call do this every year regardless of tour dates being announced?

Last year's Roll Call package wasn't even announced until August. I would be shocked if they waited that long to get some more cash from rabid fans, especially given that we know:

a) they're clearing out old inventory and gearing up for a new Roll Call package
b) they're due to release an album in the fall

Reading between the lines, I can see SOMETHING IS BREWING in a nice bold font. Not saying anything is imminent, but the album is expected to drop in the fall, meaning it is going to have to be officially announced by the start of June at the latest. Presumably there will also be some dates around album release time, and traditionally there's about three months lead-time between a show announcement and the show itself. In a few weeks, we will be right in the "around three months 'till fall" red zone, and that's why I'm so fucking excited.

Yeah as others have said I don't think roll call necessarily means tour dates or news but one can only hope... No mmj at ACL 2014

I would absolutely freak, but I doubt that will happen, since they aren't on the bill.

I think many of us have soon to be expiring Roll Call memberships.  That news could be just to inform us that the new package will come out fairly soon as it typically comes out in the spring.

In the past people were irked that upon renewal when they received the same merch as the prior year.  I believe this occurred --  if you signed up in late 2013 and renewed in mid 2014, you received a duplicate of the package (i.e. same poster, etc.).

I'd bet that the album is on schedule and a tour will happen in 2014, but don't want to get hopes up of anything imminent.

Also, Spanish Gold is playing ACL so early October isn't looking good for an MMJ outing.

There have been rumors from a very reliable source that there will be an album released in the fall and a tour.
