Louisville Waterfall Shows, April 6 & 7, Roll Call Contest

Any idea what time the Monday show might take place? I'm wanting to work in the morning and then drive two hours to Louisville.  I wish they would give us the details later today to let us work around our work schedules!

I'm thinking, for some reason,  they aren't wanting anyone to know too soon.  I'm starting to wonder if it may be a more private venue other than your standard music hall or theater.

Wow, only 300 entered?  You gotta figure most people entered for both nights.  Thats crazy odds.  I decided not to enter based on the fact that they were only going to play the waterfall songs and I've already got tickets for so many shows this tour, as cool as this is going to be. just didn't want to overdo it.  however if they play even 1 rare song as an encore ill instantly regret my decision.

One rare song?  This whole show is rare, as rare as it gets.  MMJ with less than 100 people.  I would have given up the whole tour for this one opportunity.  That's just me though.  I'm in Monday, Can't wait!

Also it's pretty rare to see the album front to back in order.  This will probably be the only 2 times they ever do it unless they do a T5 type run again.

I agree this show will be super amazing with such a small group of people.  And everyone there loves the band.  No casual fans (not that there is anything wrong with casual fans, but it just adds to the experience!).

I imagine there will be quite a bit more than the 120 roll callers/roll call guests each night.  I suspect an audience of at least twice that much.  You have to think friends, families, music execs and other industry folks will be there too.  Same deal with the Sonos Studio, 7 roll callers plus their guests, and there was probably 50-70 people in attendance. 

Congrats to the lucky ones, should be amazing.

Congrats on all who were chosen! This sounds like a really unique and memorable experience. Not knowing the details (time, place) I decided not to enter not knowing when on Monday or Tuesday I would have to leave to make the 5 hour drive from Chicago.

Love that the band is doing things like this and the album listening party. Looking forward to any other contests they may run!

No one has received a confirmation email yet.  Fingers crossed that WU do good this time around.

I don't expect any confirmation until well after 4pm EST when the lists are locked down - I suspect they'll confirm after that and then a follow up message on Monday morning telling us time and place

It's definitely a rare opportunity, that's for sure!  However, as someone who has been to somewhere around 30+ shows since 2008 i've learned that even the best things can get a little stale if you over do it.  I don't even want to tell you how many shows i've already bought tickets to on this tour.  The main reason, though.. is that after lucking out and getting tickets to Athens, and after putting that show on such a high pedestal in my mind in terms of anticipation (although larger, still a very intimate event), i just don't want to do anything to make that night any less special.....especially considering the fact that I'm driving down from Wisconsin for it 

i'm very happy for you guys, though.  i'm so glad that so many forum people got in on this.  it really adds to the community that we have established here.  i'm sure that only amazing memories will remain when all is said and done and we here back at the base look forward to your reports.

I'm going Tuesday with another roll caller who won Tuesday, but I won tix myself for Monday that I will be giving up.  No way of going 2 nights - So I guess, after 4:00 pm today, someone else will get notified about winning.

Driving in from Detroit for the Tuesday show!  No details as to where - does anyone have any insight there?  I have to get lodging for the evening.  Thx.

Staying downtown allows you to walk to bars and restaurants but the rumored location for the show is not walking distance from any hotel really  ... if you don't want to drive though it's super easy to get an Uber or Lyft in Louisville.  The downtown Courtyard has decent prices and parking garage.

If you want to stay somewhere a little cheaper than Downtown then try hotels near the airport or about 7 more miles down the interstate on Hurstbourne there is a Hyatt Place, Marriott, and Courtyard etc.

Lots of amazing places to eat both downtown and in the Highlands and Clifton neighborhoods!

I've been wondering the same.  If they aren't informing us until Monday, then it has to be in the evening.  We should be good.

Think they will play the album front to back, or mix the tunes around?  I know they said no older songs, but maybe we will get lucky for an encore?

It should be album front to back with mini encore judging from previous recordings. 


I'm bummed I missed the selection.  If anyone got the golden ticket and is heading from St. Louis and needs a Roll Call buddy I'm all for it!  I'm off M-W and thought for sure I would get picked aww so bummed!    Anyway this is my last chance effort.  STL to Kentucky.  Got new tires on my ride as well!

Not a winner, but glad so many board people did win.  REMEMBER, they just started working on I65 South of Indianapolis again + the construction going on at 465 & I 65 interchange on the south side. Give yourself plenty of extra time.

I'm counting on Kentucky beating Wisconsin and if that's the case, then Kentucky will make it to the finals on Monday night.  So then my guess is they will work around the game!
