It was a little small but instead of putting it in my garbage, I used it as a garbage bag and emptied out my trash can.  ;D

Quotehey magnix. i started compiling a list of all the DVDs I have.  It is not complete by any stretch. I was putting it together for possible DVD trades but didn't know if I should since the band really has no official policy towards video. I also did not include single tracks like the conan performance or the One Big Holiday video just because that would have taken forever.  I need to compile a dvd of all those short vids but for now here's what I've got.  Like I said, it's not complete, but it's a start:

Wow, I thought that I was sitting on something to give to the list - I asked Riny recently about getting my videos out there, and I guess it's still cool with the band to send out the old stuff.   Almost everything on your list from 10-25-01 through 9/17/04 that I saw was shot by me (with a little help from my friends) - didn't go through the whole list, but I may have some more.  I'm glad that these are out there; I think that Corey from Alabama was able to get most of these from the dude whose camera I was using.  If I have anymore I will send them to someone to seed 'em, but most of these are already out there.   My favorites are the 'date which shall live in infamy' show, 10/25/01, with Jim jumping backwards off the bass drum, and the Good Records show is awesome because I was *right* in front of Jim, and it's complete with shots of his bare feet!

Have fun,
Low Dog

Cheers George!  [smiley=beer.gif]

I actually got those from corey.  definitely see if I'm missing anything.  These shows aren't really "out there" yet.  The only people I know of who have them are myself, you, corey from alabama, and kory from da ville.  Great stuff.  I had an idea that it was either shot by you or that you would be very interested in seeing them.  I'm still working on getting a COMPLETE list of all the DVDs/videos I have or have access to.  yet another project to add to the list...

Off the top of my head, these are the ones that I shot (or had help with) - most, if not all, are *somewhere* in my possession (or Brad's, the guy with the camera)  - the running joke all of these years was that I'd talk about how GREAT MMJ are, and although he's a big fan, he's not quite as fanatical as myself - so he'd tell me to curb my enthusiasm and I'd say something like "that's coming from the man who owns more MMJ DV's than anyone else in the world!"  Obviously, that's not confirmable!   But we probably have something in the neighborhood of 15 shows.   I know that we have these:

Austin, 10/25/01
Jim solo, Bloomington, 1/23/02
Denton, 3/15/02
New Orleans, 3/18/02
Tampa, 3/20/02
Atlanta, 3/21/02
Columbia, 3/23/02
Greensboro NC, 3/24/02
Dallas, 7/19/02 and 7/20/02
Nashville, 4/23/03
Atlanta, 4/24/03
Carrboro NC, 4/27/03
Nashville, 6/20/04 (shot on VHS, not DV, but sounds okay anyway)
Dallas, 9/17/04

I also shot Atlanta 10/6/05 from the balcony - not sure if that's burned to DVD or not, and I had problems with the camera for the first 10-15 minutes of the show.
Trying to shoot audio AND video is a bitch when you're by yourself!   The sound's probably not as good on this one, either, as this was my new camcorder and its mikes left a lot to be desired.  We were planning on shooting the 11/05 Dallas show but the Gypsy Tea Room busted Brad and confiscated the camera when he was shooting Will Johnson, who opened for the boys.

I have a DV player.  Maybe you can borrow it.  I'd love to see that tape.  I'm sure I was at that show.

Kory

A DV player? The little tapes right? I think you probably know who's tape it is but I am supposed to not say the name. I'd just loan you the tape but it's not mine so I don't feel good about that.
You going tonight D? KC and I will be there. If you would loan me that player I'd transfer it quickly and get it right back to you in a couple days.
