I couldn't believe what I was reading this morning.  So sad.

now it's being said it could be suicide. So very sad.
Don't you ever turn it off

According to the setlist posted online by fans, Soundgarden closed out their show in Detroit on Wednesday night by performing the song 'Slaves & Bulldozers', which featured a refrain from the traditional gospel song 'In My Time Of Dying', which the band have performed live numerous times over the years. It features the following opening lines:

In my time of dying, I want nobody to mourn
All I want for you to do is take my body home

Mr. White

Soungarden, and Audioslave, front man Chris Cornell died of an apparent suicide Wednesday night in Detroit. In his memory, we are temporarily releasing audio we recorded of his last solo show performed at the Royal Theatre in Victoria on Thursday July 21, 2016.

We did not record the entire show because we were taking photos for the first portion of the set, but most of it is here.

Victoria fans who were there can relive that show with the embedded Soundcloud player below.

We are grateful to have had the opportunity to cover such an amazing singer and performer. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and fans.

This one broke my heart because he was the Robert Plant of my generation--awesome pipes and great lyricist.  Miss you forever Mr. Cornell, hopefull your mind and body are at peace now
