Damn Dave! These are awesome! I'll have to DL these when I get back back in town tomorrow. Many thanks will come in the form of frosty tasty beverages at Explosions next week. PM me if you are still planning on going and doing the Halo.

QuoteBy the Way, the following songs were also performed live solo, but I do not have any recordings of them.

Just One Thing    10-17-03    Waterloo Records            Austin, TX

I'm way behind on the board, as usual, but I taped this 10/17/03, and you probably already have it by now but if not, holler, and I'll send it to you.   That was a great show.   I believe that he did Masterplan there as well, but you probably have it somewhere else.   I need to make some trades with someone for this, I still can't download anything.   Anyone out there want to burn this and use the USPS (the old-fashioned way) to trade with me?   Killer compilation, dude!

I'll be glad to send it to you.  It's the least I could do for all of the shows you have contributed.   PM me your address again, I don't think I have it anymore.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

Whatever you do in the privacy of your own home is your business.

Seriously, I think that's cool.  Use it anywhere you want!

I think I just shat myself...this is amazing. The track list is unbelievable, and these songs are so different than when played as MMJ. I have realized once again how incredibly talented JJ is.

BH, thank you so much for this present. It goes to show you that the gifts that are created with someone's heart and soul are the best. The graphics compliment the music wonderfully.

BH

Thanks BigSky!

Don't forget however, that the true thanks need to go to #1) of course JJ himself for not only making amazing art but also allowing us to tape and spread it legally!  and #2) Guys like Ger, Kory, Brian, Dylan and others who, if it wasn't for their hard work taping, uploading, etc,  I wouldn't have any music to put together in the first place!

Not sure where the name came from, I just liked it.  The stars, and the shape of the letters.

Maybe sometime soon.  I don't have the capability to do that.  I can probably mail you a copy next time I get a chance to burn a few.

aside - I remember when I first heard The Heavenly Music Corporation by Fripp and Eno years ago. It was from a blank tape recorded from a radio station from Philly, with tad bit of static. The tape was probably a couple of years old. It sounded awesome.

Have disc 3 on at work, thanks again 4 compiling this Big D!

BH

 :)  Blank Tapes.

I remember as a kid standing in my room next to my boom box just waiting for my favorite song to come on the radio so I could press the record button.  Actually, I would first hit "pause" then press record, and then when I was ready, I would release the "pause" button.  That way, I would be sure to not fuck up the record/play button combo. ;D  Come on, you've all been there.   (Well anyone over 30 anyway)

Such a fond memory. I almost think it is a defining part of all our lives. (again, those over 30, possibly 27 as the wife recalls this behavior as well)
