Now that we know Bonnaroo 2004 will be volume 3, what do you think we'll see for Volume 4 and what do you want to see???

VOL I: 2015 COMPILATION
VOL II: 11/5/21 CHICAGO
VOL III: BONAROO 2004

WHAT NEXT?

For me, expand the series past vinyl and to CD / DVD with RR2016 both nights or compilation, Chicago 2008, Sydney Metro 2009 (with DVD), 12/29/17 Denver was a perfect Jacket show, just some suggestions of mine.

I'm going to second Apr's suggestions from the other thread:

Red Rocks 2016
TTF at the Cap 2019
MPP 2012
Red Rocks 2019 night 2

My favorite would be TTF 19 from the Cap Theater, but I'd love any of these four.

I do have to say every one of the five shows I've seen at MPP has been off the charts great and rocking so no one would be disappointed if we got one of those shows and the 2012 one would be a great get. There's a run of songs in the first set about a dozen long that rival any set list and top most imo. The whole show was great but that run there was just one after another wow moments for me.

Either TTF 2019 or something from 21-22. A compilation of shows like Vol 1 was for '15. The band have been on fire post-covid.

I really want HQ live versions of Spring, The Waterfall, Extended Wordless, the recent super tight versions of Touch Me P2, Least Expected (RR22 for that one), Feel You, Wasted...
it wouldn't be a party without you

I actually remember the encore even more with Cobra - Run Thru - Cobra.  When they went back to Cobra after Run Thru and then played Rock the Casbah (which might have been the first time they ever covered that) I was completely blown away.  Add to the fact that GO4IT got the poster with the Rock the Casbah lyrics hand written on the back that Jim tossed into the crowd - quite a souvenir for him.

I would also love a 2022 show and a video of the 'Roo 2004.  Pineapple hinted something in another thread ("stay tuned") about that being a possibility.

Or just release the 2016 Picture of You from Red Rocks as a single.  I'd pay a pretty penny for that!

Your memory is better than mine since I thought the Cobra > Run Thru was part of that main set run of songs that just blew me away.

I do remember the encored Rock the Casbah and GO4IT getting the tossed poster though.  Really great show with so many highlights and would love it to be a part of the Live series.

Your memory is better!  And I forgot they played O Is The One (another favorite of mine and not because it is rare)......I just checked the setlist.

Haha, well I'm not so sure about that.   I just remember for pretty much the whole main set thinking WOW when they went into the next tune. They were on a roll and I remember how blown away I was as they were just playing one great song after another. Then to get that Cobra > Run Thru > Cobra and wondering what they had in store for us next.

I just went back and checked the set list as well, and am still blown away by it (and my  memory lol) Just goes  to show how great a night it was as it left an indelible memory. I'm glad you put it on your list and we got to talk about it. Here's hoping it's in consideration for the Live series.

Of the shows I've been to - 12/19/17 and Red Rocks N1 2016.

Otherwise, as others have said - give us some juice from 2022! They've sounded SO good lately, and it's awesome that they finally started mixing up setlists! I mean the first night of Red Rocks opened with IWSYS and had Cobra, Where to Begin, and OBH in the first 5-6 songs. Insane.

I'll put a vote in for 8/12/12 in Columbus, OH at the LC Pavillion.

Just the encore alone would be worth it.  After closing the 1st set with OBH, a TON of people thought the show was over as that is the typical show closer.

But not only was the show NOT over, they came out with an encore of

18. Hopefully
19. Wonderful (The Way I Feel)
20. Victory Dance
21. Wordless Chorus
22. Touch Me I'm Going To Scream Pt.1
23. O Is The One That Is Real
24. Touch Me I'm Going To Scream Pt.2
25. Steam Engine

Damn, that was some good shit right there!!!

I think a hometown of Louisville show is due sometime or another. Maybe its last year's Halloween party (or hopefully we get another one of those this fall), but there's no shortage of heaters to choose from.

That show is amazing.  It's on Nugs with great sound quality already.   We already have a great sounding 'Roo 2004 show on Nugs too.  I'd prefer the vault release be something other than the selection on Nugs as my ears can't really appreciate the difference between soundboards, remixed, flac, etc, etc.  I appreciate the audience recordings, but really don't check them out often because of the great selection on Nugs.  Plus Relisten has some other great sounding shows that Nugs doesn't such as NYE Denver 2017).

Summer 2012 was such a great period for the band. 8/3/2012 night 1 of Red Rocks would be a great one. Night 2 was great as well but since it was televised there's already a good soundboard and video out there.  9/7/2012 in Redmond was stellar as well:

Rollin Back
The Way He Sings
The Dark
Circuital
XMas Curtain
Steam Engine
Old Sept. Blues
War Begun
Outta My System
Master Plan
It Beats For You
Anytime
Mahgeetah
Victory Dance
Wordless Chorus
Touch Me 2
Gideon
Encore (All with Johnny Quaid)
Phone Went West
Run Thru
OBH

I also would like Red Rocks 2016 night 1
A lot of great shows already on this thread.

They should release the 2019 Tennessee Fire show from the Cap as Live Vol. 4, and then give us a nugs companion release of the 5 night stand at Terminal 5 in 2010.

They have both shows available. I remember these two shows were pretty fast to be released right after the shows were performed (first one at least). I remember listening to Night 1 during the time Night 2 was being live broadcast on AXS TV. Both shows were killer!

Edit:
I'd like to see a few more of the shows I've personally been to get the official release treatment (selfish, I know). I'd like the first KFC Yum! Center show (my very first MMJ show) from 10/29/2010 be released. I'd like the UNSTAGED show from 5/31/2011 get cleaned up and released. I'd like the 3 night run at the Chicago Theater in 2015 get released, as well as the 2 night run at the Iroquois Amphitheater in Louisville in 2016, and the 2 night Red Rocks run in 2016 (also the Columbus 2017 show would be cool too).

True, I guess I should have stated I'm a vinyl guy and would like night one on vinyl. That War Begun into IWSYS is my favorite, then Tyrone and Rollin Back are just killer. Night two with the video is stellar to watch too.
The great thing about this band and this thread is the number of great shows they could release and we'd be happy.
