The band has already said there would be limited dates for next year, "We're going to tour next year, rest assured, but it will be somewhat limited."

Only 3 shows have been announced so far. What else should we expect? Just more festival dates? Maybe a run of shows in Louisville again?

Here's what we have so far:
April 18 - High Water Festival, N. Charleston, SC
May 7-9 - Viva El Gonzo, San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico
July 22-26 - FloydFest26, Check, VA
MMJ Shows 2005-2025 [38]

A couple 25th anniversary shows for 'At dawn' and a few other random shows and festivals.  I assume there are some Jim solo tours to go along with carls solo dates.

Hopefully some European dates! I need to hear those IS songs live and in person already *sobs*

Check the lineups for the major festivals as they're announced. It would probably only be financially viable for them to tour Europe in conjunction with a handful of larger festival shows included.
Cuz it's been so long since someone shattered me.

I thought a couple nights at forest Hills would be some of the rare shows we'd get this year, but that's ruled out with this great South Bay music fest.  Might be festivals only in 2026.

Got an email from the band recently with a link (below) to a survey which I thought was interesting.  The first real question that was asked is do you use forum.mymorningjacket.net, which is good fun.  Then they asked for your show count, some questions about One Big Family and other social media stuff, then some show day questions including a question about VIP tickets.  Lucius - this would be the perfect place to let your European tour feelings be known, and while you're at it suggest mentioning the Pompeii Amphitheater as the perfect place to play (saw two freaking amazing King Crimson shows there).  Enjoy!

Thanks, I'll take any opportunity to hound the band about making European dates happen

My gut tells me it's not happening (anytime soon) though!

They should really give this some serious consideration.

I remember reading years ago a few artists talking about conversations they had with Springsteen about fan bases and touring.  He told them get to Europe, develop a fan base there and you will never regret it or something to that effect.

Granted over the decades he's on another level there but his words were prophetic, he's still huge there and his fan base is incredibly loyal and supportive.

I'd love to see our guys take their shows to Europe more often for the fans there, and make some new ones as well as they'd surely do with their amazing shows.

Oh I agree about Europe.  Unfortunately these days it is pretty costly to mount a European headlining tour but I think they could do a bunch of festivals to start with....

Lucius

It's a difficult one because touring Europe is obviously financially problematic for a lot of acts like MMJ these days, but also if they don't come here their fan base is only going to dissipate over time. The 2015 UK shows were a sell-out, fast forward to their next shows here in '23 and from what I've heard those venues were pretty roomy towards the back. London was a marginally higher cap venue and Manchester was the same room.

The timing for the '23 shows was off too. Ideally any act would want European/other overseas shows announced with an album release. Strike while the iron is hot. Not two years down the road when hype has died down and more casual fans, who will make up most of the audience, have moved on. Who manages the band? Does anyone know? Is there a vacancy?

I think I've accepted that it's not happening just yet. I don't blame them for not wanting to take the financial hit. It happens when it happens... and when it does happen there won't be a fan happier than me! As long as they keep uploading shows to Nugs

Anyone have any tour news or rumors now that we're in the new year?
